We started Christmas Eve off with making our Gingerbread house. It usually gets done sooner..but time just went to fast, and we were lucky to get it done at all. Dean of course did our construction of the house...and the kids did an amazing job of decorating it.

and of course eating it!! Yummy!! FYI, every year I think the frosting looks so good...even though I know it is for construction
purpose and
doesn't taste good; I always give in and taste it. (Still not good).

Christmas Eve, was a little quiet with some of our family members and their families not here this year...but then the games began and it was chaotic.

Everyone getting ready for Christmas musical chairs. I had hyped my kids up telling them how to play, and it
doesn't help that their parents are both competitive, but it was
hilarious to watch everyone
.
Yes, My sister Stephanie has no shame...
beating out a little 6 year old..look at how intense.

The winner of the first game went to
beautiful Stephanie.

This next picture cracks me up look at Addison and my cousin Mark going around that chair, I told everyone to go all out to win even if it was against my kids...and Addison wanted to win so bad her hands were in fists and white as can be from holding them so tight. She ended up winning, and as you can tell from the picture below she enjoyed getting her prize.

Yes, Yes that is a broken chair sometimes it gets a little out of hand and some things get sacrificed in the process. (my sister Lisa did it)
don't tell.

We also played the steal the present game where you all draw numbers, and go in order either
opening a present or stealing someone
Else's. I love this one, because even if my kids got their favorite thing, they still tried getting someone to steal it, just so they could open another gift.

We ended the evening with a wonderful Christmas devotional and our annual P.J. Opening. Yes our mother still spoils us, and even us adults get the P.J's.

My HOT hubby showing off his new outfit (PJ's)

Little
Tynlee was being so cute with grandpa Eves, and I couldn't help take a few pictures of her.

The calm before the storm.

PRICELESS.

We had such a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed being with family and friends. What a great year. Preston,
Shaylee, and Addison were so cute this year, and everything was so magical. They loved the last gifts they had to go find. Because Santa couldn't get them in the house. Preston wanted a
basketball hoop, and the girls got a barbie Jeep and doll house to Share.
