November in a nut shell...

Wow...were to begin. We moved into our house the first of this month and have enjoyed having our own little space. The kids have loved helping Dean put up Christmas lights, and their own little beds. We also went to the festival of trees this year. Preston's school class had put a tree in this year and he had decorated a few ornaments, so we went to see his tree and the ornaments he did. They had some beautiful trees this year...but of course we voted for Preston's Alice in Wonderland tree. We also had family down this last week for Thanksgiving. We had family pictures taken and did Christmas lights all weekend. We had my little sis bless the newest addition to the family this last weekend as well. Tynlee looked so beautiful and it was a wonderful blessing. We had a ping pong tournament with some of the neighbors...and Dean won!!! Good job honey. Black Friday shopping went well we got everything we were hoping for.
Plus we had our basement flood on us on Friday. I cried. All my Christmas presents and everything were floating on 6'' of water...and I was done Christmas shopping too!!:( We are still working on that though. We also had the opportunity to speak in Church on Sunday...and believe it or not, I was not one bit nervous. YES!! It went really well and then we went and helped Shaylee give her talk. I was up all night the night before with little Addy..she get such bad asthma like symptoms during the winter...I hate it. Over all we had a very fun November and cant wait to see what's in store for next month. I already have one surprise that I will post about later this week.Family waiting for their turn for pictures. Kids trying to feed the ducks

Family getting ready for pictures..
Grandpa and Grandma had a sleepover with all the grand kids, while the parents went black Friday shopping.
The winner of the ping pong tournament got a kiss. but dad didn't get that part.

Harvest of Talents!

Preston entered the Harvest of Talents @ his school again this year. He really enjoys drawing...so that is the field he wanted to enter. He told me he wanted to draw a fall tree. Of all things a 6 year old boy would want to draw. He did a great job and ended up taking 2nd place in the drawing area in his school. He is already coming up with things he wants to draw for next year. He loves it and he is very competitive...(something he gets from his dad).

These two...

Last Sat while we were moving into our new house...we had some Landscapers outside working on our front yard...Grandpa went out to help them, and so of course my kids had to go help "papa". Well a little while later the girls come walking in through the kitchen where my mother and I are working. I just caught a little bit of there conversation then tell my mom to listen. She looks at me strangely as she listens to the girls and says "I don't understand what they are saying". I start laughing because there conversation goes like this "si habla espanol? muy bien... then they go on to pretend to talk in Spanish. They had been out with the landscapers who are talking a mile a minute in Spanish and the girls felt like they should to. My mom and I could not stop laughing...it was to cute.

Happy Halloween!!

We were lucky enough to go to two Halloween parades. One for Miss. Addy...and the Second for Preston. Addison had a blast. She sang so loud and did all the actions. She loved every minute of it. (and Yes...Yes that is her teacher on the far right of your screen dancing and flying like a fairy.)
Preston is in 1st grade, and was able to dress up...but no facial makeup. Which was fine by me I hate washing that stuff off. We took the girls and they loved seeing all of the costumes.

I helped Shaylee cut her pumpkin out. (she wanted a happy one)

The pumpkins after we were finished carving them. Aunt Lisa helped little Addy.
Grandpa helped Preston with his pumpkin. Dean was asleep so I got all the help I could get. Thanks everyone for helping us. We had a bunch of family come down for Halloween so it was fun to spend time with everyone. We are moving into our house this weekend so my kids looked like Orphans because I had been down at the house all day...we did get their teeth brushed around 2 though.
All ready for Trick or Treating...it was so funny I kept telling Preston to smile (forgetting he shouldn't smile)...and his teeth would fall out. So he finally told me vampires don't smile.

Group shot. Have to have a family shot by the pumpkin every year. My kids are getting so big.

Group picture with our best friends. My cousin Lea's family came down on their way to Disneyland...So they went trick or treating with us. I love when we get to see them..are kids are close to the same age..and everyone of them get along so well. Wish we lived closer.
How cute is this little picture (I love her shoulders).

These two did not let go of each others hands the whole night. I swear their little fingers were blue from holding them so tight.

Yes..you read the sign right. This neighborhood is crazy. They block off the neighborhood so no cars are aloud and we got over 1500 trick or treater's. So one lady was taking donations and had set up an account at a bank where people could donate money. What!!! We cant afford to be in this neighborhood. I made sure our house wasn't finished at Halloween so we wouldn't have to deal with all the chaos/cost.
All the kids had per ma grins on their face the whole night. The day ended up being wonderful, after an early sprinkle came and went. Cant wait tell next year. Oh, wait yes I can...I better start saving now for all that candy I'll need to buy. YIKES!!
