Addison is 4!!

Addison had her birthday Tuesday the 25th. My baby turned 4 today, broke my heart just a little to think how big she has gotten, and how fast time goes by. She had such a fun day and loved every minute of it. She woke up and had her favorite breakfast homemade waffles. We then got ready for school and finished frosting her cupcakes to take with her, then onto the presents. I think all the kids enjoyed watching and helping her open gifts. She loved everyone of them and would get excited for each one she opened. We of course let her choose where she wanted to eat for her birthday and we got to go to McDonald's, Yea!! Later we had family over for cake and ice cream she loved us singing to her and playing with her cousin Allie. She is the happiest, most lovable little girl ever. She is very caring of others feelings, and is a big blessing in our little family. We love you Addison "Happy Birthday".
Facts about Addison @ 4 years old
-She knows how to write her name.
-She knows all the letter and their sounds
-She learned how to ride her bike without training wheels @ 3 1/2.
-She loves to read her scriptures with the family each night. (she always reminds us).
-Her favorite colors are Pink and Purple (of course)
-She is a little bit of an opposite to Shaylee...she'll eat some meat or chicken, but would rather not.
-She says I love you @least 5 times a day to anyone in the family.
-She loves dressing up and playing pretend.
-She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES, being in primary as a sunbeam.

Some fun Crafts

I got this idea off of a blog, I loved how easy and cheap these little projects are. We have had fun making them. Yes, even the girls helped me wind yarn around the wreaths, and also roll up the little roses. Love the finished product for under 2.00.

Ski Bunnies...& I couldn't help myself!!

Yep that's right. I couldn't help but post a little thought today, just to have this day show up in my blog book. I know a little lame, but what can I say. I do however have some pictures and a little to talk about. My little girls decided they weren't so little today and let Dad take them skiing. Shaylee has went once before a couple weeks ago, and this was Addison's first time. Addison did as I suspected "No Fear" she just takes on a challenge and goes at it. They got a little cold, but other then that they had a great time. Shaylee skied without wedges, so she was very proud of that. Which is a big thing since she has only went once before, but she's picked up on it rather well. They still have some issues, but over all my family has loved the snow this winter. I was told today that they will take me up soon, and teach mom how to ski. I love it. They are so excited and I am going to take them up on it. I've only went once 8 years ago, Dean took me while we were dating, and we just haven't had the equipment, money or time. Now that Dean gets free passes through his work, and we have equipment, it's just the excuse of finding the time. I have to laugh I live in St. George, and I think 3 of my last 5 posts are about snow. How ironic.

"Snow Day"

We woke up to some wonderful packing snow on Monday morning. What is so fun was that we were not expecting it. So when the blinds on the windows opened up we all scream and ran outside as fast as we could to build our snowman...before it all melted. We had such a great time. The kids loved building the snowman, making snow angles, and getting in a snow ball fight. We then came in and warmed ourselves up with some wonderful Hot Cocoa. Later in the day Grandpa and Grandma Eves came and got us to take us tubing. The kids weren't so sure at first, but Loved it after the first try...we had to drag them away from the hill. We then came home and made popcorn and watched a new movie we got for Christmas. We had a great last day of Christmas break. Loving life.

7 years!!

{Happy Birthday Preston}
My baby boy turned 7 today. Wow!! I love him so much and cant believe he is already 7, and in first grade. He is so smart, and loves to read. I'll find him in bed with a book in the morning waiting for me to get him up. He loves, loves, loves to be active...he wants to be outside constantly and play any type of sport, whether it's basketball, football, baseball, or kicking the soccer ball, he doesn't care as long as someone will play with him. He is very competitive, which is putting it mildly whether it's in school work, or sports he is always worried about competing. He is a very good boy and is always willing to help out, plus some. I cant imagine life without him. He brings a smile to my face; and I love him.
