We stayed home this year for Thanksgiving. Dean had to work Thanksgiving day (just tell 2) thank goodness. So we enjoyed the beautiful weather, and company without leaving home. Wednesday aunt Stephanie took all the kiddo's to "Wreck it Ralph" She was nice enough to let me come along. It was a cute movie. We also were able to help Grandpa Eves with Christmas lights this week. We also played, played, played. The weather was beautiful so we all pretty much lived outside. What a great relaxing weekend.

Halloween!
A couple of days before Halloween we did our annual sugar cookie decorating. The kids had a blast. Decorating and eating. Yummy!!
We had a great Halloween. I got to spend it all day at the school with the kids. I was in the kids classes anyway this day. Plus, I had to help with all the class parties. We watched all the kids do the Parade, and Grandpa and Grandma Eves also came to watch with us. We hurried home to carve are pumpkins. The kids grabbed the pencil and designed while Dean and I cut them out. After the pumpkin carving we headed up to mom's for our traditional chili dinner, and donuts. I'll admit it was a little lonely for the kids and I. We talked Grandma into walking around with us, and we were home and done handing out candy by 8:00. We went through 1400 pieces in 3 hours. We turned off our lights, and still had tons of people knocking, and ringing our door bell...take a hint dark house leave us alone. Very fun, and low key Halloween.
