Girls Soccer!!
We have been a little busy, which happens a lot this time of year. I signed the girls up for soccer and decided I would coach them...so I could move Addison up a grade level, which meant I wouldn't have to go to 2 games. Dean has ended up coaching with me, and it's been fun to watch the progress of the girls. Although, we did coach 8 year old competitive soccer, so I have to keep reminding myself and Dean, these little girls are K-2 grade...so it's a big difference. We have had a few games, and I think we have 2 left. Shaylee, and Addison are both Awesome. Addison is the youngest one on the team, and is right there with the big girls. She is not afraid of the ball or anyone around her. Shaylee does awesome at whatever position we put her in at, and does well wherever we do need her. We don't have to worry over a certain position when we know Addison or Shaylee has it covered. They are learning and having fun. I yell and coach so much, that these are the only pictures I've taken since they started, hopefully I'll remember this next game.

Derby Time
Scout Expo
April 13th
Preston was able to race his Pinewood derby car in the BIG Scout Expo competition. If you are the winner in your ward or pack you get to take it down to the Expo to race. Preston took 1st so he was able to race against 70 other Bear derby goers as well. They went through them really fast, and had 4 lanes. Each kid just raced twice. Then they based it on the best times. Preston took 2nd in one heat and 3rd in another. Our car only weighed 4.8 and we knew that going in...the judges there could not believe we didn't want to add the last .2 oz to make the car 5. They're some really big die hards down that way, and we were not one of them. Preston however felt really good about his races, and came home to tell Grandpa, and Dad he was probably in the top 20. I love his optimism, and who knows maybe he was. We also got to help out at our scout booth, and enjoyed the morning together.

Easter Break!!
Easter was pretty low key for us this year. Family was all in Florida, or Palms Springs. At least we were able to have Marci, and her kids down to keep us entertained. We did our annual Easter Egg hunt @ Grandpa and Grandma's even though they weren't there. The kids wanted to use the grandparents yard because it was bigger to hide more eggs. (Ha Ha). We did it Friday before Easter because Marci and her kids were leaving Saturday to head back home after being down here for a week.
We made a hall and ended up with tons of candy, and a few money eggs. Saturday we woke up early and headed out to the city Easter Egg Hunt, with the rest of the town. This was the first year Preston wasn't aloud to join in on the hunt, but he was OK with it. The girls had a blast, and both ended up with plenty of goods to share with Preston.
We sure had fun playing with the cousins everyday. Good thing the weather cooperated.
Easter morning was great. We didn't have to be to church tell 11 so we were able to enjoy the morning.

After the cousins left we decided to color us some Easter Eggs. The kids had a blast and really got into it. You can tell by the pictures they were deep in thought about how to decorate there eggs.

We had a chance to take some pictures in our Easter outfits before church. The kids are getting so big but I still enjoy dressing them up. We had a great time together for Easter. We our so very blessed to have the atonement in our lives, and our so thankful for our Savior and the life he lived. We are very blessed to have the knowledge of the Resurrection and that we have the gospel in our lives.
