Golf Camp

Preston got golf clubs for Easter...(Some really nice golf clubs).  He wanted to put them to use this Summer so we signed him up for a golf camp here in Hurricane.  It was at Sky Mountain, such a beautiful course.  He had fun, and has already had Aunt Stephanie take him out on the course to practice the things he learned.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the Best Dad in the world.  We love you and all you do for us.  Your great attitude.  Your hard work.  We love you dad.

Summer Games/ Craft Day!!

Preston has had a lot of things going on this summer.  One was the Summer games.  He was on a soccer team.  The wind was SO bad up there the first day, the girls and I stayed home, because we knew we wouldn't be able to take Brecken out in it.  So we made rings, and hair bows, and then out for ice-cream.  I Sure do love my girls.

The next day ended up being nice, and I was able to go up and watch Preston play.  Brecken decided he wanted to eat, so my view for most of the game was in the car looking through a fence.  He did awesome and had so much fun.  Dean was the assistant coach, and Preston always loves having his dad help.

Swimming Lesson's

Shaylee and Addison did swim lessons again this year.  Preston's schedule was a little full, so just the girls did it this year.  They did awesome.  Shaylee learned to dive off the diving board.  Addison loved being timed on how long she could tread water.  We sure have enjoyed going to our neighbors house each year for swim.  They are awesome.

1 Month

Wow were does time go.  Brecken turned 1 month on the 9th.  4 weeks has gone by fast.  He is a joy in our lives.  A few facts.
1.  He loves to be outside.  Even in this heat.  If he is screaming we open that door and he just stops.
2.  He has been fussy these last 2 weeks.  He has been spitting up a lot more which I don't think helps.
3.  He loves to hear singing or music.
4.  He is a morning boy.  He does so good in the morning and usually stays awake for 3 hours or more in the morning.
5.  He sleeps about 3-4 hour intervals.  Goes to bed about 10 wakes up at 1, 4 and 7 or 7:30.  hit or miss a 1/2 hour here or there.
6.  He loves to eat, and seems to want to eat more at night then even during the day.
7. He loves his bother, and sisters.  They love him so much, and do so well with him.
8.  He loves walks in his stroller,  I think this has to do with again being outside, but we try and go on one every night after the sun goes down.  (so it's not so hot).
9.  He loves to have blankets up around his face or something cuddling his face.
10.  He is very regular, We are constantly changing diapers, the girls have loved to do this, and have both changed his diaper all by themselves with mom standing by if they need help.
He has been a lot of work, but so worth it.  He cries a lot at night about 5 on he is pretty fussy.  Dean goes to work at 6:30, and the kids are so willing to help out while he cries.  They are the best, and so understanding.  Life has been great and we are loving every second of it.

The Heat Wave

 Wow, not much to post this time of year...That's a good thing.  It's nice not to be as busy.  We do have a few things coming up though, so for now you get the only thing we can really do around here this time of year.  Water.  Any kind of water activity is where you will find us, and me and Brecken usually are in the shade sweating it out, or inside in the A.C. cooled house.  I laugh at all his pictures, because I don't think he looks anything like the ones I take.

 We headed to the splash pad the other day, shaylee got invited to a friends house, so it was just Preston and Addison playing.

 Of course you can't beat the sprinklers in the yard and playing on the tramp.

Memorial Weekend

 We had a very enjoyable memorial day.  We started it out Sunday night with some baked in the oven Smore's, and then sleep out on the tramp.  Good times.

 Monday we went for a walk, played some soccer, went and visited the graves, played in the pool and hung out with family.  It was fun to see the kids in the water...it's been awhile.  They sure are little fish. Cant wait to swim with them.  The kids have really been obsessed with taking pictures lately so I find random ones on my phone..here is one with my boys...and one with the girls.
