Shaylee turns *8*

 Shaylee turned 8 years old this last weekend.  So exciting.  She had a pool party with some friends.  It rained all morning, but by 12:30-1, it was sunny and nice.  Perfect weather to swim in.  The girls all had a blast playing in the water.  I love pool parties, because I don't have to plan any games, or keep anyone entertained, they love to play for hours in the water.  We did her pool party Friday (the day before her birthday), because we thought we might get more of her friends there after school then on a Saturday.    So we celebrated all weekend pretty much.

 The next day for her birthday we had Donuts for breakfast, request from the birthday girl herself.  She then went shopping with mom.  Then we headed out to go bowling.  She is at such a fun age and such a girly girl.  She loves to design clothing, color, do crafts, and make things.  So that is what most of her presents were.  After bowling it was on to Larson's Frost top for a glacier.  We then ended the night with one of her favorites a salad from Durango's.

 We also took some time these last couple weeks and took some baptism pictures, for her baptism coming up.  She looked beautiful, and We are so proud of her, and love her so much.  She is the best daughter a mom could ask for.

Back to School 2013-2014

Another year is here.  I'm so excited about this year in school.  The grades the kids are in are so fun, and I know all the kids are really going to enjoy themselves.  They are already.  Shaylee and Addison are in the Chinese Immersion program, and love it.  Its so exciting to watch them talk and teach each other what they've learned for the day.  Preston is loving being one of the older kids, and loves being with his friends.  They all look so grown up in this picture.  I love them with all my heart, and am so glad to call them mine.  Preston 9-10 years old, Shaylee 7-8 years old, Addison 6-7 years old.

3 Months

Brecken is 3 months August 9th.  Wow...feels like he's been with us forever, but time is going by so fast.  We cant seem to get enough of him.  He is a Happy little guy when he wants to be.  Mostly after he is well rested, and fed.  Do not mess with him if he is hungry though.  Wow, turns into a totally different baby.  He has 3 set nap times throughout the day, sometimes he takes them sometimes not, we end up in the swing or car a lot.  We know he will be a crier if he doesn't get his sleep.  His little personality is coming through.  He loves his tongue.  He sucks on it sticks it out loves to have it moving.  He loves to talk to you and tell you stories.  He loves things (toys) dangling above him, he tries to hit them with his hands, he could stare at his mobile and a few toys all day.  He loves music, it calms him and he loves to hear songs.  He is a little picky about the songs though.  ha ha.  We had to wait tell almost his 3 months to get his 2 month shots, and check up.  So as of 2 months 23 days old Brecken weighed 12 lbs 3.5 oz.  was 24 1/2 " long.  He has doubled his birth weight in this time, and he is 80% in height.  So he is getting to be a big boy.  Even with all the spit up he is doing something must be staying down.  I cant figure it out either.  Preston and him are one and the same, and they both get so chunky cant figure out how anything is in there system when they are done spitting from one feeding to the next.  He is such a joy we love him so much.  He still wakes up once a night, and I fear he is going to be a stubborn one, and just cry for awhile.  He goes to bed @9 and is up crying around 3:30-4, only 6-61/2 hours.  Hopefully he gets better soon.  He has gotten close to rolling over quite a few times from his back to his belly.  He still loves tummy time when he is happy.  He is still a little crier, but is over the worst I think.  We are so blessed and thankful for him, and love him to pieces.  The kids just want to hold him all the time, and he LOVES to not be held.  He thrives on laying on the ground, and being talked to and playing with his toys.  It will definitely be an adjustment for the kids, and I when they go back to school, Brecken wont have entertainment 24-7.  Hopefully Him and I will adjust well.

Back to School Dates

Each year the kids and I spend a little one on one time and go on a back to school date.  This year we let Shaylee go first.  She choose to eat @ one of her favorite places "Golden Coral"  after that we headed to TJ Maxx one of our most favorite places to shop.  We then went to the outlets, and onto Costco, and Walmart to finish it out.  I can't believe she will be in 2nd grade this year, turning 8 and getting baptized.  Wow, time flies.  I love her so much and her fun little personality she lets shine through for me.  She is a very sweet girl.  Next day date was Preston's he chose to eat @ the Pizza Factory.  We then headed out shopping, he wasn't to into it as the girls, but he chose a few shirts, and a few other items he felt he had to have.  He was a good sport when we had to end the date early to get home to Brecken.  He will be going into 4th grade...oh my...only 2 years left on elementary school then it's on to the big intermediate school.  He is such a smarty pants, and I know he will do awesome, he always aims to please.  Love that kid.  Third date was little ms. Addy she too had to have the Golden Coral..."why did they have to get cotton candy and a chocolate fountain I ask you?"  We ended up at TJ Maxx, and the outlets, plus Costco for an Yogurt.  I love her and her loving personality.  She wants to give hugs and kisses All day everyday 1st grade will be awesome for her I know it.  Hopefully Chinese will work out for both her and this year.  Cant believe school is starting up again.  Where do all the days go?

How we Roll.

One night we decided to go up to grandma's and grandpa Eves house while they were gone, and use their putting green.  You can see by these pictures how it ended up going.

Brecken was getting tired and ornery so I thought the water might calm him down.   Well next thing I know all the kids are begging to jump in.  So down to the undies they went and had a great time.
