We all Scream for ICE CREAM!!

 We have been going to this frozen yogurt place by our house a couple times in the last couple weeks.  They are having a deal feel your cup up with all the ice cream and toppings you want for 3$.  So we have been taking them up on that offer literally.  I laughed my head off when I saw Deans cup.  Animal cookies  really?  Frosted with Sprinkles???  I had no idea that my husband liked half the stuff he had in his cup.  On another note.  Brecken had his first bite of Ice cream...courtesy of Aunt Lisa.  I think he liked it, but maybe a little to cold for him!!  I think we will wait to feed him that again anytime soon.  Right Aunt Lisa.

The Grand Canyon

Addison had her first oral report in front of her class.  She chose to give it on The Grand Canyon.  She did such a GREAT JOB!!! She pretty much made her poster by herself.  She was so proud of it she showed it to everyone and wanted to give her report to anyone who wanted to hear it.  We sure do love her.

Cub Day Camp!!

Preston and I had scout camp this last month.  Boy was it a cold morning.  We all froze tell the sun came up.  We had to be there by 7:30, and our first station was water rockets, the boys were upset they had to play in the water first, because they were so cold, but they enjoyed it just the same.  They learned some new rope skills, and built a bottle rocket, and did some archery.  Over all I think Preston had a great time. Love being able to be there with him.

6 Months.

 This little angel of mine is 6 months.  Wow, where does time go.  He had a lot of firsts this last month between 5-6 months.  He started eating some baby food.  Greens....did not go so well.  He hates peas, and green beans.  We are onto Carrots, Squash, Sweet Potatoes.  He seems to do OK with them, as long as they are warmed up.  Just like his rice cereal.  He doesn't like things cold.  He also eats laying down, other wise he pushes everything back out with his tongue.  He also rolled over right after I wrote the 5 month post.  He rolls both ways, and learned in a couple of days.  He hates to do it, so he still doesn't do it often for us.  He also learned to sit up really well this last month.  like the day after family pictures...darn it.  That would have helped.  He was a soccer ball for his first Halloween and enjoyed walking around for a little while.  He still loves being outside, playing with his brother, and sisters, and baths.  He still spits up tons, and now it stains because the baby food comes out with it.  He still puts anything and everything into his month to eat on.  He is our little stinker as we like to call him, but he is the cutest little stinker we know.  He makes us laugh on a daily basis, and we cant seem to get enough of him, even though I'm sure he gets enough of us.  We are truly enjoying this time in our lives, and love seeing him grow.

Long night, the next day we were both exhausted.  Hardly ever lets me snuggle him, but this day he did and I Loved every bit of it.

 This is how our last two months photo shots have been going.  I place the month on him, he pulls it off, and begins to eat it, and play with it.  I'm sure it will only get worse each month he gets bigger.  love it.

Another Season Done

This season the girls had to play coed.  They still did awesome, and held their own against the boys.  I'll be honest...they were even better then most the boys. Ha Ha.  They won every game and had a lot of fun, but are ready for the all girl team in the spring.

Preston's team had their best season yet.  They  did really well this year, and learned so much.  They looked so good out on the field.  It was really fun to watch.  Dean was able to help be the assistant coach, and really enjoyed spending time with Preston.  Another season finished.

Happy Halloween!!

What a fun Halloween.  I was able to help in Addison's class with her Halloween party.  1st graders are so much fun.  After that Dean and Brecken met me at the school to watch the Halloween parade.  Such cute kiddo's I do have to say.  Horrible lighting for the pictures, but still cute kids.  After school we headed home, to get ready for the big night around our neighborhood.  Dean was in charge of hanging up our orange lights, and we set out our pumpkins, and all 1600 pieces of candy, and then headed up to moms for our annual Chili dinner.  This year grandpa made homemade root beer.  YUMMY!!! Forgot how much I loved the stuff, and how much my kids LOVED it. We then took pictures, and headed out with cousins.

Look how good Brecken is doing at sitting up all by his self.  Not even 6 months yet good job Brecken.

Feel bad about our family picture.  Dean was across the street already handing out tons of candy.  He was stuck at the house all night while I walked with the kiddos.  The kids were everywhere so finally we divided and conquered.  Somewhere along the way Preston and the boy cousins were way ahead of us girls, so I took the girls,  Marie ended up way behind with the little cousins.  So fun. We had a great Halloween, and love living in such a fun neighborhood. The block off the neighborhood so no cars can enter, and everyone sets in their driveway or porch, because there is no reason to leave your door closed, you are none stop for about 3 hours straight.  We had movies playing on lawns, many spook houses, demetors, headless horsemen, pirates cove (that was cool), BBQ ( yes someone was cooking hot dogs, and feeding anyone and everyone.  Flying witches across zip lines, and so much more...I even think a radio station pulled in to play music.
