Easter Egg Fun!!

Thursday night to start off Easter Break, we dyed our Easter Eggs.  The kids love this activity every year.  Breck this year was really excited the whole time we were coloring and keeper saying "WOW".
He was upset I didn't boil enough for him so have one of each color.  My bad next time I will learn.  We didn't have any vinegar so our eggs were more pastel then vibrant, but that's okay.  Good things we had the newspaper since we had over 10 spills. Ha ha ha.  Sure do love this family of mine.

Preston's first time to the Temple

During Spring break this year Preston went with some friends to the temp to do baptisms.  I really wanted to take him his first time, but was just glad he had the opportunity to go.  He loved it.  He said it was really busy, but they each got to do 10 names.  Its so fun to see the changes in your kids as they get older, and I'm really enjoying the age this kid is at right now.   After the temple they went out to eat and got shakes that were bigger then both of them.  Then they came swimming with us to grandma Eves pool.

Spring Break 2016 Southern Utah/Northern Utah

We started spring break Sunday night with a cousin sleepover.  We had the boy cousins at our house, and the girl cousins went to Uncle Matt's and Aunt Marci's.  The next morning we took cousins with us while I worked with Lisa.  The kids went to the park, and played outside enjoying the great weather. We then came home, and did some laundry, Rented a movie and got Blizzards.  Tuesday we started off with work again.  Grandpa and Grandma surprised us with lunch from Chick fa la.  We went to the park again, and then after lunch we headed to Fiesta Fun with the cousins to go bowling, and play in the arcade.  We had a blast, and Breck ended up winning in bowling.  After Fiesta Fun we headed to get ice cream with the cousins.   Chick fa la has the best Ice cream.  Its a little on the icy side, and doesn't hardly melt at all, so Breck can take as long as he need to eat it.  We then came home and hung out with dad that night.  Wednesday we woke up and finished work at Lisa's then went to lunch at Arctic Circle, and onto the Washington Rec Center.  We got there and were waiting for cousins to come.  While we were waiting I saw people getting turned away so I went up to the desk and they said they were full to capacity.  So we couldn't get in to go swimming.  We called Grandma and Grandpa and had them heat their hot tub for all the cousins, and ended up over there.  Believe it or not some of the kids ended up spending most of their time in the cold pool.  Addison being one of them.  We got home around 5:00, and the kids ended up playing with all the neighbor kids tell the sun went down.  Thursday we packed, got an oil change, cleaned the house, and headed up North after dean got off work  to see grandpa and grandma Monson.  Friday morning we headed out to go snow tubing at Soldier Hollow.  The weather was sunny and a little warm.  I think we all ended up taking off our hats, and coats.  The weather was a little to warm and made for horrible tubing, but the kids made the most of it, and we had fun together.  We then went shopping in Park City.  When we got back Grandpa Monson took us to eat at El Matador we love that little Mexican place.  After we went home and watched the Jazz game with the family.  Friday night Breck decided to get really sick with a big fever and throwing up.  We didn't have the best night, and were all really tired the next day.  We got Breck some medicine, and that seem to help a lot.  That afternoon we were able to take the kids out shopping.  We came home for a nap, and then Grandpa and Grandma Monson watched all the kids while dean and I went out for our anniversary.  When we got back they were all getting ready to leave to go bowling, So we joined them.  We had a great time, and the kids loved bowling with grandpa and grandma, and being with them.  Over all we had a great spring break and we were not ready for it to end, and to deal with the time change, and waking up early for school.
