Preston's First talk in Church

Yes, Im that mom that is documenting my child's first time speaking in Sacrament meeting.  He came home tuesday evening from YM's and said everyone was telling Brother Reeve No when he asked them to speak.  When he got to Preston he told him Yes.  I loved that the most.   We got to work on his talk the next night.  While we were working on it brother Reeve called to let me know he had asked Preston to speak, when I had told him we were at home working on it right now, he was impressed that preston had let me know.  Preston also had to teach the lesson in Deacons again.  He's done it twice since coming in in January.  He did awesome on both things, and I'm so proud of the man he is becoming.

Addison's Spring Soccer Season...

Addison had a great season in Soccer.   She really loves to play, and is pretty quick on her feet.  She scored a goal most games, and is a great defender when she gets put in that spot.  I think next year she gets to move up to competitive so we will see how that goes with 3 kids in it.

Brecken Shenanigans

The big kids are at school all day, which leaves Brecken to get all the pictures, and fun.  We've been busy working a lot lately, so when I have days off I make sure they are fun for Breck.  We have been going to the park a lot with the nice sprain weather, and playing with our hands and feet in the splash pad water…still a little cold to get a the way wet.  We've been doing story time at the library and playing outside.  He has become quiet the talker, but most people still have a hard time understanding everything he is trying to say.  Monson Gene (Haldeen tells me anyway).  I signed him up for a 2 day a week preschool, hoping it will help him feel more comfortable about being away from me.  He has really bad anxiety and we've never had to deal with it with the other children.  He bites his nail down to the nothing because it's a nervous habit.  I hope he will be able to overcome this.

Brecken still likes to line things up and place them just so.  He lined his letters up this day, and was placing them around the room.

After being at the park which what seemed like forever, I had to bribe Breck to leave with a trip to Lins to get a donut.  Worked like a charm.

Poor Breck LOVES ketchup and puts it on almost anything.  Well, I always keep a stock pile in my pantry of 3 or 4 deep and every time I'm at the store I just grab one to keep it up.  Well I haven't been grocery shopping in awhile, and Dean's done it a few times.  I forget to put ketchup on the list, because I just grab it every time I go.  We got down to the last bottle and I told Breck…after refilling his ketchup on his plate like 6 times that he had to finish his meal with what ketchup he had left, and I would give him anymore.  He uses way to much.  This is the face I got from Him, and it stayed like that tell I told him to just keep eating and there was still ketchup on his plate.  Goodness.
Breck also decide to break a plate that says it is shatter proof.  We proved that wrong.  It went everywhere.
Grandpa also took the motorcycle out for the spring, and Breck jumped right on.  At first he told me he didn't' want to and when grandpa revved it, it made him really nervous, but as soon as grandpa waved him over he went a running.  He loved it and was smiling and waving the whole time.
Grandpa Eves also Brought us Breakfast a couple Saturdays ago.  Breck had all the goodness he could want a ham and cheese  mcmuffin, hash browns, and he grabs my parfait i'm eating and helps himself to it, and tells me he doesn't like the other food.  He is by far my most pickiest eater!!

Easter Morning

The Easter bunny found our house and filled up the kids easter baskets.  I was sick with a sinus infection that morning so I didn't get many pictures at all.  Anything outside of the Easter baskets is from mom and dad.  Like Easter outfits, and things like that. Brecken got a bike (which we usually wouldn't do), but we wanted him to have it early while the weather is not to hot to practice.  We didn't want to wait tell his birthday.  He likes it alright, but the boy is just lazy, and hate pushing his feet on the peddles.

Easter Egg Hunts.

Hurricane City Easter Egg Hunt.
We woke up early to get to this hunt by 9:00.  Its was so Windy, and cold.  The good thing about Easter egg hunts is they are over in less then 5 minutes.    We showed up 4 minutes early.  We were out of there 4 minutes after.  The 3 older kids are to old for this Easter Egg hunt, so we just went to take Brecken.

Around 11:00 we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Eves….it  was still super windy, but a least the sun was up.  We hid the eggs in record time, since everyone was so cold, and the wind was killing us. After the Egg hunt, the kids had to find golf balls with numbers, then they would turn in their numbered golf ball or a surprise egg.  The kids lucked out and got some great cash money from grandma, and grandpa.  We then Had a great lunch, and hung out for the rest of the day eating Easter Candy.  Grandpa took the older boys paint balling while the rest of us choose to stay inside out of the wind.
