11 Years Old

Shaylee turned 11 this year!!! Time has really gone by fast.  She is an amazing young lady.  We celebrated with per her request maple sprinkle donuts.  She then opened up her presents before dad and Preston left so they could watch and celebrate with her.  Brecken and I then meet up with her at school to bring her some DQ.  She wanted the 5$ lunch, and then let all the friends around her eat her ice-cream that was melting while she ate her food.  We had Addison's soccer game after school, but Shaylee wanted to go to dinner as well.  I tried finding Addison a ride, but to no success.  So we dropped Addison off at her game and took Shaylee to get a dinner.  We then brought it back to eat at the game.  On our way home she decided she wanted a Slurpee from 7-11, so we ran in and got her one.  She is such a fun, loving, organized, helpful, caring, beautiful girl.  Her favorite food is Taco's, favorite sport is Soccer.  She is amazing at it, and for our season opener she scored 2 goals.  She loved the color turquoise.  She loves to clean her room and organize her drawers, as well as her sisters.  She is my sleeper inner.  Not saying to much because she still gets up at a decent time, but she has always loved to sleep.  She has really started to enjoy reading, which I love.  She loves to cook and help me out in the kitchen.  She is a perfectionist, and is always trying her best.  We sure love her and enjoy her smile, and spirit in our home.  Happy Birthday Shaylee.

Random Picutres

Brecken helped me make a homemade chocolate cake for Grandma Eves Birthday.  It was fast sunday so everyone was pretty upset they didn't get to lick the bowl.  Brecken let them know what they were missing.  He enjoyed every last lick.  We also had to go swimming a couple more times before school started on a thursday.  Wednesday afternoon we ran over to swim.  It was a little chilly with the cloud cover and wind, but that didn't stop us from swimming for a little while.  Grandma came out and turned on the hot tub, and then there was no getting them out.  Breck was in heaven in the heat.  I was able to at least put my feet in to warm up.  I feel like we need a couple more months of swimming before I wasn't to be done for the season.  Brecken has really taken to the water, and I don't want him to forget how much he likes it.  He loves jumping off the rock, and going down the slide.  He even doesn't mind putting his head under water.  He is getting so big.

Kanarraville Falls

I'm a little jealous of these pictures.  I can't wait to go on this hike after I'm done being pregnant with my family.  Some of the Monson family came down this way a couple weekends ago.  One of the fun things they did was hike the Kanarraville falls.  They left Friday morning around 10:00.  Took a lunch and headed out.  Breck got to be carried around by dad pretty much the whole time, and the kids loved playing on the rock slides and water.  They were gone tell about 3:00 and seemed to have had a great time.  It didn't help they got to all go with some cousins.  Grandma Monson's was a trooper and made the trek along with everyone.  We sure loved spending time with family.
