Landon turned 4 months on the 20th of February. With the 4 months came no more swaddling….I was not looking forward to this time. He has been my only baby that likes being swaddled. Only way he would sleep. He was sleeping through the night tell about 6-7:30. Its been a little rough with no more swaddling. He did okay the first night. Just woke up around 3:00 cried for awhile and then slept tell 7:30. The next night slept tell 6:30 and didn't wake up at all, so I got excited to think it wouldn't be so bad. He then had his 4 month shots, and has had a little cold and its been awful since. Some nights are better then others but I would say the last week has been off and on good and bad nights. Hopefully he starts feeling better soon and sleeping better. He weighed 12 lbs 13 oz at his check up and 25" long. He took his shots like a champ and stopped crying as soon as I picked him up. He still spits up a ton, and is constantly wet from spit up and drool. He hates tummy time and only lasts a few minutes after each feeding doing it. He rolled over a few times this last month but hasn't really made a habit of it. He also laughed this last month as well. It takes some work but he laughs for us. He loves his fists inside his mouth at all times. To bad it doesn't ease him at night. He doesn't take a bottle or a Binky. He just chomps on them. Has no idea how to suck on them. He hates them and gags on them when I put them in. He take 4 naps a day 2 little ones in the morning time..a long 2 hour one in the afternoon and a little one in the evening to make it to bedtime. The kids all love him but he is a very needy baby. He hates the car seat so we don't go anywhere very often. He's got blue eyes…like Dad, Brecken, and Shaylee. He's had neck issues since he has been born so his neck isn't as strong as it should be. We've been working on that one. He's doing much better now and seems to be getting stronger and stronger each day. We also went on our first walk this last month. The weather has been teasing us with some beautiful days and we just have to get outside and soak in some vitamin D after such a wet and yucky winter. Over all he is growing and getting stronger everyday. We sure love him and are blessed to have him in our home.
Addison and Preston were both involved in soccer tournaments over Presidents weekend. They played in rain and mud all day Saturday and then Monday. Addison's team won a game and then lost one. On Monday they won again…So they played for the gold. Preston's team tied and then won their other 2 so they also were playing for the gold. Both teams ended up with silver medals. They had so much fun and were so excited to be playing in the finals.
Went to Mom's and Muffins with these hooligans. It was Shaylees last one because she heads off to the Intermediate school next year. I sure do enjoy spending time with these kids. We talked about school and they showed me some work they had done in the halls. We also couldn't leave without some purchases from the book fair.
Brecken had his first haircut….Not by mom in a salon. From these pictures you can tell he didn't know what to think about it. Dean said after about 5 minutes he calmed down and ended up liking it. The weather has been off and on with rain it seems like Forever, So when its beautiful outside we go on lots of walks and play outside as much as we can. Breck is breaking his bike back in and been practicing soccer with mom while the kids are at school and Landon sleeps. I sure do love this little guy. He says the funniest things, and makes us laugh all the time.
