Landon 8 Months

Landon turned 8 months on June 20th.  He rolls all over the floor, and gets on his hands and knees and rocks, but still no crawling.  If he does move it usually involves his head pushing him backwards.  He went golfing and loved playing outside.  He loves the water.  Splash pads, swimming, playing in the hose, and baths still.  He is starting to eat baby food a little better and loves baby snacks.  He is trying to cut a tooth on the bottom, and is causing him to not sleep to well, and be extra ornery.  He puts everything in his mouth, especially really food he can get from people.  He sleeps from about 9-6:30, with 2 naps during the day.  He loves his brother's and sister's.  He really loves stroller rides with mom in the morning while she exercises.  He is still a high maintenance baby, but we love him and all his smiles make up for it.  He is a joy to have in our lives.

3V3 Soccer Summer Games.

 I decided to sign all the kids up with a team for the summer games 3 on 3 soccer summer games.  I had Dean coaching all of them and the girls wanted their own teams even though they were in the same age group.  Which meant they would have to play against each other.  It was so busy, so much running around, and so much FUN!!! We named the teams after our club and DM for Dean Monson coaching them.  So on the score boards that's what you will see.  I was on my own with the two boys, and helping dean wherever I could, but all the games overlapped or where right after each other so he was running around like a madman.  The girls had to play each other the first day and were really excited about that.  Shaylee's team pulled out the win.  Preston's team ended the day in 1st, as well as Shaylee's team, Addison was in 4th.  Saturday Addison's team had to play 4 games.  They came from behind to win some games to play Shaylee's team to see who would play for gold.  Shaylee's team pulled it off, but we were really excited for Addison's team because they lost to the team they had to play for bronze the day before, but came out and won the bronze medal.  We were ecstatic for them. Preston's team lost in the first round of play to go to the gold medal game, so they played for Bronze and won in Sudden Death Over time.  Shaylee's team Played for Gold, and also got a run for their money.  They won in Sudden Death Overtime as well.  We sure made some good memories, and had a blast being together.  By the end of two days Brecken, and Landon were so done with Cedar City.  We lived up there last week between Basketball and Soccer.  They sure were good sports.  Love this crew of mine.

Company

 My cousin Lea and her family came down for a visit, and we always have so much fun we forget to take to many pictures.  They came down for Soccer and Basketball summer games, and stayed with us a few days.  They went hiking at Kanaraville falls, swimming, BBQ, watching movies, and just enjoying each others company.  We sure love when they come to visit.

Basketball summer games 2017

 Preston was able to play in the summer games on a Monday, and Tuesday.  It was some long days for us.  They did great and learned a lot.  Won a couple games, lost a few.  In between games it was such nice weather I laid a blanket on the grass at the park and let the kids play while Landon enjoyed the sunshine and being free from the carseat and being held.
