Landon is 10 months. This summer just flew by. I cant believe how big he is getting. He is crawling everywhere and climbing the stairs. He loves to walk along furniture and pull himself up. He loves for people to hold his hands and walk with him. He loves being outside. He gets nightly walks and bike rides because he gets so ornery at night and this keep us sane and him happy. He started getting some type of rash after his 9 month appointment and it hasn't cleared up. He is still a hard baby. I keep thinking the more independent he gets the happier he will be....not so much. He loves crawling in the shower and hearing himself talk. The acoustics in there are amazing apparently. He also loves joining anyone who is showering. We don't have a door to our bathroom or our shower so he just crawls right in a joins us with his clothes and all. He sleeps pretty good at home. Takes 2 naps a day, and then sleeps the night away. On vacation though is a different story. He is up multiple times a night and is a BIG stinker. We will definitely have to be fixing that. He has 4 teeth his 2 top, and 2 bottom ones. He is so fun to get to laugh. He loves being scared by his family and laughs every time. We sure do love this little dude, and are so glad he is in our family.

First Day to School 2017
Preston is in a New school this year. He moved up to 8th grade which is the Middle school. Shaylee Moved up to a new school this year as well she is in 6th grade Intermediate school. Addison is the oldest in her school she is in 5th grade at 3falls elementary. Brecken started his 2nd year of Preschool at Happy days. So 4 kids in 4 different schools. They all go and get out at different times so I feel like I live in my car for most of the day. By the time I get the last one off it feels like we have to turn around and start picking up. We should be getting used to it soon though. Everyone seems to be liking the new schools, and new teachers this year. I sure am proud of them all and the hard workers they are.

Last Weekend of Summer
We hit up the pool and lake for the last weekend of summer. It was so busy at the lake, but we still had a lot of fun. Lisa and Devin are always so nice to take our family out with them. The kids loved the new tube they bought that sits them up. It was pretty fun to watch them bounce around. We also had all the cousins come swim at moms the Saturday before school starts so we could enjoy the pool one of the last times before school and soccer starts. Aunt Stephanie and Shaylee got in a little head dress competition. I think Stephanie won for sure..look at those Bananas.

Braces for Shaylee
Shaylee got braces the Thursday before school started. Preston let her know how much money he is saving us because he doesn't need them. I told Shaylee it doesn't matter I had braces and most kids need them. Preston is just a freak of nature. We are hoping the pain will subside when school starts in 2 days. She wasn't looking forward to it very much, but who does? She has done pretty well with them and hasn't complained to much. We've given her a Tylenol in the morning and one at night to help with the pain, but she seems to be doing better the 2nd day. I personally think she looks cute in braces.

Eves Reunion Bear Lake Day 3 Last day
Bloomington Lake ID
Day 3 Some of us went back to the Lake for the morning, and the other half of us did Bloomington Lake hike. It is a rough drive to get there, but the hike and view is so worth it. It was a easy hike, and the kids loved it. We even talked Grandma Hannah into it. She is 83 years old and did great. I was so surprised she went the whole way. The lake was extra crowded because of Bear Lake Raspberry days so we didn't spend to much time there. The water wasn't as cold as I remember, but it was still freezing. There of course was still snow in some parts of the mountain, and the kids loved that. After the hike that night we did our made up relay race. Some of the family had went home that day so the ones that were left did the race. Aunt Stephanie put a lot of time and effort into it and it was supper fun. It started with a potato sack race, followed by a balance beam which had to be lifted and placed in front of the team each time we needed to move. We then went to the paint ball shooting, followed by the football toss, then the balloon between the legs race, and to end it a three legged race. We were so out of breath after the race. There were 3 teams. Camo team: Lisa, Devin, Shaylee, and Tynlee. Black Team: Dean, Amber, Addison, Brecken. Red Team: Grandpa Jerry, Grandma Patty, Preston, and Amy. Of course our team won 1st place!!! After the race we did an adult race which consisted of Dean and I, Lisa and Devin, Stephanie and Preston. Again it was a close race, but Dean and I won again. So fun. That night we went and got pizza and Raspberry shakes followed by a game of Nert's. The next morning we all cleaned packed up and headed home. Sure do love my family so much and enjoyed our time together.
