Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving has to be one of my least favorite things to do.  I hate the smell of the inside, and I hate cleaning them.  You know what someone should go into business with pre-cleaned pumpkins...so all you have to do is carve them.  making the face and carving I can do.  The kids have fun though, and luckily we were able to carve them with some family at grandpa and grandma Eves.  I was so busy keeping Landon away from the stairs, that I didn't get any pictures, dean had to get them all, and then I didn't get a picture when they were all done with the finished product.

Landon turns 1!!! and 11-12 month pictures recap

Landon turned 1 years old on Oct, 20th.  He has been such a blessing in our lives. I'll be honest when I say he hasn't been the easiest baby.  Probably my worst, but that doesn't make me love him any less.  He has a big 11-12 months.  He learned to walk, clap, and say mama again.  He still only has the 4 front teeth.  2 on top and 2 on the bottom.  He says mama and dada He is starting to smile more, and becomes a little more content.  Not much though.  We are hoping walking will help with that.  He is very shy, and doesn't go to very many people.  Just mom, dad, and Stephanie willingly.  Everyone else has to try their hardest to get him.  We call him the ostrich because he ducks his head down to the floor or into your body whenever someone acknowledges him.  He is a pretty good eater so far.  He doesn't eat breakfast good yet, but we are working on that one.  He loves beans so much.  We also introduced him to spinach, and he thought that was yummy too.  He dances pretty cute, waving his hands up and down and bouncing to the music.  He gives the best hugs, and goodbye waves.  He loves his baths, and has been okay with brecken joining him lately.  He also loves books.  He loves looking at the pictures and turning the pages.  When we go to story time he will listen for awhile to the storyteller.  He is a handful, but we are so glad he finished off our family.  We love him.  For his birthday we spent the day playing with him.  Taking him out for lunch and getting him pizza and a cookie for dinner.  For his cake and ice cream we split that day with dad for his birthday and invited over family to share in the fun.  We loved having everyone come over and celebrate Landon, and Dean.  I will say this though...Landon has been my only baby who dove right into his cake.  He loved it and couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough.  He didn't care about getting dirty either.  I think it was because I started feeding him solids sooner then my other kids.  It was fun to watch him go to town on his cake.

Landon's 12 month stats.  He is 19lbs 8 oz.  He is 2 feet 5".  He is a shorty but catching up in weight.  I think he is in the 20th % in weight.  Hope he keeps eating good and growing.
