Spring Break at Tahiti Village

We left on a Wednesday morning to get down to Lasvegas to start on our spring break vacation.  We planned rooms with my family.  We got down there first and the kids headed straight to the pool with dean while I tried to put Landon down for a nap.  They didn't last very long at all because the weather was so windy making it cold.  They came back and we got ready and headed out shopping and seeing family.  After, shopping Landon was being so bad we new we couldn't go out to eat so we brought the food to the hotel for all of us.  It was our anniversary ha ha so we shut the kids in the living room with there food and movie while we watched a show n our room with our food.  We then let the kids go to the game room, and called it a night.  The next day with weather was wet and cold.  We ended up at Top Golf, and then shopping at a big mall.  Came back to let the kids swim with cousins while the sun was out, but it was still to cold for me.  We all then went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Came home went to bed.  We were all wore out.  We left Friday afternoon to head home.  The weather didn't cooperate as well as we would have liked, but it was still fun to get away and be with family.

Broken Pipes!

 Saturday night after we rented the movies, I came home to my garage covered in water.  It was leaking through the cement coming up through our main water line.  We got the plumber to come look at it for Monday and shut off our water for the night so it would stop leaking.  Sunday morning the plumber texted and asked if he could come by that morning because he was trying to get out of town with his family for spring break.  Dean dropped us off at church and hurried home to meet the plumber.  While we were at church the power went off and the bishop sent us all home after the youth speaker.  We got home Preston went out to help dad and the plumber.  They tracked the leak down to somewhere out in our yard to under our house.  It was a big mess.  Finally around 4:00 they found the problem and we got it all fixed the next day.  We patched up the garage, and Dean and Preston have been working on fixing up the lawn....I think it's a lost cause.  It also rained that day so it was a big muddy mess.  So grateful and blessed we saw the leak that night and we didn't go to bed with it flooding everywhere through the night.

Saturday to start off Spring Break

We spent Saturday enjoying beautiful St. George.  We went up to the red rocks, and cactus wildlife garden.  Brecken loved the ducks and made sure I got a picture of them.  We then ended up eating lunch with Matt's family, Lisa's family, and aunt Stephanie.  After lunch we headed out to play pickle ball.  It was such a blast.  Even the bigger kids got into it, while the little ones went to the park.  We had a great time being outside and spending time with family.  That night we rented a few red box and went to enjoy the evening.....or so we thought. 

Broadway Magic 2018 Shaylee

Shaylee got together with a group of girls and decided to make up a dance and preform at the Hurricane Broadway Magic show.  They danced to "Get your head in the game" from High School Musical.  She had a blast and they worked so hard on there dance.  They preformed 2 nights Wednesday, and Thursday I made it to both nights, and they were awesome.  The family all came to Wednesdays.  Then on Thursdays dance Grandma and Grandpa Eves, and Aunt Stephanie came.  Shaylee was so excited to have a cheering section.  Loved watching her shine and preform.
