Brecken's Swimming Lessons 2018

Brecken went to swimming lessons, and Mrs. Connie's house.  We have loved using her in the past with my oldest 3, and she did not disappoint this year with Brecken either.  He loves the water, and was the only one in the class that would swim with out a life jacket.  He loved jumping off the diving board, and then swimming to the side.  His teacher made him swim the length of the pool by himself after he jumped off the diving board and he did great. 

Girls camp 2018

Shaylee was so excited to go to girls camp this year.  She loves the girls, and leaders in our ward, and had a blast last year.  This year was no different.  She got to have Dean come up for a day and help with the girls camp and zip line.  He got up there Thursday night, and stayed until Friday night helping the ward.  Shaylee is such a fun person, and make everyone around her feel comfortable, and welcome.  I sure do love her, and the young women she is growing into.

Girls Trip to Vegas and Hamilton

 We got my mom Hamilton Tickets for mother's day.  In the process we bought ourselves one too so we all could have a girls trip.  We decide to bring our girls with us and let them play in the pool, and have a special night in the hotel together.  We got down to Vegas around 1:30 with all the girls, and went straight to the pool.  The girls lasted about 2 hours in the water.  After which the rest of the family joined us.  We all got ready ordered the food for the girls, and went out to dinner with the adults, and then to the show.  We were all so excited.  We ate a Brio, and then headed out.  I had read up and been listening to the songs from the show, so I knew what it was about.   I loved it.  The music was amazing.  We had such a good time.  We woke up the next morning and went to breakfast, and then headed home.  I sure do love this family of mine and spending some time with just the girls.

Ice Cream and Swimming.

 Some days you just have to have Ice cream for lunch or dinner.  In our case it was lunch.  We had a gift card to cold stone creamery and we all loved it.  We then of course had to go swimming at grandmas pool.  We've already made good use of it this season.  Brecken is becoming quiet the fish, and confident in the water.  Landon loved the water with his floaty and I love seeing his little legs kick to get him places.

Snow Canyon State Park

We spent Memorial day playing in Snow Canyon State Park with the Lemon's.  We had a blast with them, and couldn't believe we had never been to this national park in our own back yard.  It was so beautiful.  We got there around 9:00, and did about 3 hikes.  The kids loved running around and hiking, and it was nice to talk to Eric and Marie.  We went on a hike that had pioneer names cared into the side of the mountain, and the dates they were craved.  It was really cool to see how long ago they did it, and how long they have been up on the mountain.  After hiking, we ended up at the park to have lunch and play some pickle ball.  It was great to catch up with Aunt Marie, Uncle Eric, and the cousins.

Start of Memorial Weekend/Summer

We woke up the first day of summer to Dean and Preston Golfing, and the family headed to the lake, and I headed to a hair apt.  I haven't got my hair done, in over 2-3 years.  Long overdue.  The family had a blast at the lake.  They all practiced surfing, and of course the tube we got dinner and went to Preston's basketball tournament. The next morning Preston had a couple basketball games.  We went and watched him with some family, and then went for a picnic, park/splash pad, and pickle ball with some cousins, and family.  The weather was perfect, and the company was perfect.  We had a great weekend, and couldn't wait for Monday to play for memorial day.
