Labor Day

Dean came home from visiting and helping out his parents Sunday afternoon.  Monday we ( Matt and Marci's family, Lisa and Devin's family, and Stephanie) all decided to head up to Cedar Canyon and do a hike, get lunch, and fish.  The weather was beautiful, and actually started to get cloudy towards the end of our hike.  Landon was a trooper and let dean carry him the whole way.  Once we were done with the hike we headed back down the canyon to go fish.  That's when I noticed my phone missing.  We pulled over immediately and realized it had been left on the car and got ran over by two trucks and a trailer.  So I have no pictures of us fishing.  We fished in the rain, and had a blast.  We all caught some fish and had the best time together.

Peach Days...

Dean went up north for the weekend to help out his mom and dad...Preston I think was at the Lake??so the girls and I took the boys to the peach day parade. (over Labor day weekend.)  We had a blast catching all the candy and other things they threw our way.  We had our backs to the sun which is always nice, and then we headed over to the booths.  We bought a big jar of churned honey, and the girls both grabbed so things.  The boys ended the afternoon playing at the park, and then I took the boys home while the girls stayed at peach days with friends.  We ended up swimming and playing with Aunt Stephanie.  We had a great relaxing Holiday weekend.

EFY 2018

This summer Preston had the opportunity to go to EFY at BYU Provo.  He went with his friend Mckay.  I was so excited for him to go because I remember going when I was his age and how much it strengthened my testimony and put me outside my comfort zone.  We picked them both up Saturday morning and they both couldn't stop talking about it.  They loved it, and couldn't wait to go back next year.
