Girls camp 2019
Girls camp this year was the last week in June. The girls were so excited to say the least. Addison was beyond thrilled, because it was her first year. Shaylee tried to play it cool, but had a great time as well. They tie dyed shirts before they left for camp and wore them up to camp that first day. The other pictures were from their leaders they sent us at the end of the week. So grateful my girls got to go and learn and grow, with such great leaders. We sure missed them while they were gone.

Basketball Summer games
We turned around after a restful Sunday to head back up to Cedar for basketball summer games. She had a full schedule with a early 8:00 game to a late 9:45 game with 3 games in between. So we got a hotel so we would have a place to crash in between games, and a place to stay for after the late game. The next morning Tuesday we had another early morning game at 7:45 so this seems like the best course for us. We lost our first game by a last second foul shot. We were a little shocked. Shaylee scored a clutch shot with a minute left to put us up by 5. Then we ended up letting them score a 3 pointer and then fouled them on a lay up so they won by 1. It was a tough loss. After the game we went and got smoothies, and some groceries to last us the day. We then went to the next game which we lost by 20. Got lunch and then headed to our hotel to swim. While we were swimming Breck's tooth got loser to the point that he pulled it out..(well Shaylee pulled it out). He was so dramatic, and excited to have his tooth out. Dean meet up with us while we were swimming. (He works in Cedar on Monday's). We got cleaned up and headed to dinner with him and then to Shaylee's 6:45 game. They ended up winning by about 8. We then headed back to the hotel to get the other kids settled, and Dean took Shaylee to her 9:45 game. They ended up losing that one. We then woke up and got ready for the 8:00 game on Tuesday morning. We played the number 1 team and lost only by a basket. tough loses, but the girls had fun and learned a lot. Over all it was a busy 5 days in Cedar with me and the kids, but also fun.

Soccer Summer Games
We headed up to Cedar Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for Shaylee's Soccer summer games. She was playing on a Cima team that had a players combined from 3 teams. It was a lot of fun to watch her play. We had some long days up there with 2 games spread out throughout the day, so we had to plan some activities to keep us busy until the next game. We played a game at 10:00. and we won 8-1. We then would not play again until 4:00. We brought Addison a friend the first day and rented a paddle board, up by the lake up there. We also had a picnic and build sandcastles. The kids caught a fish with their hands and wanted to keep it, I made them put it back in the water, but I could've been to late...oops. After the lake we went shopping at Tj maxx. We then headed back for our second game that we ended up tied 2-2. We headed home and came back up Friday morning for a game at 10:00, and then 2:00. We won both of those games and would be playing for the gold medal round against the last team we played...we new it would be a hard fought game. Saturday morning 8:15. We played an up north team for the gold medal...shaylee hurt her ankle in the last game the day before so she sat out quiet a bit, because it was still bothering her. They ended up winning 3-0. She was so excited to get a gold medal, and was trying to take care of her ankle because we had basketball summer games Monday, and Tuesday the next week.
