This kid and Chocolate.

Brecken's first season of flag football

Brecken tried out flag football this year.  His team is the Rams.  He again is one of the youngest on the team because it's 1st-2nd graders.  He seems to like it.  He's pulled some flags, ran the ball a bunch and overall he likes it.  Last game though one boy decided to tackle and Brecken and one other team mate Jett got tackled.  HE DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!  He let everyone know that this was flag football and they weren't aloud to tackle.  Needless to say I don't think we have a football player on our hands, unless he grows out of the tackle issue, but it's still fun to watch while he is in flag football.

Brecken's first game of the season.

Brecken had his first soccer game last Saturday. He is one of the youngest players on the team.  It is a 1st-2nd grade team and he is one of the youngest 1st graders.  He holds his own though and did really well.  It was fun to watch him learn and grow.  He even had Dean out back practicing with him this weekend.

High school golf team.

Preston made the High school golf team.  He had qualified for every tournament this year, and has played well in almost all of them.  He was really excited with his score of 82 at cedar ridge.  It stuck him in the number 4 spot for the team.  They only take the top 4 scores.  They've taken his score a few times.  him and his friend Britt usually battle for the 4th spot each week and its usually by a point or so.  He has improved so much this year and I'm excited to see how the season finishes out.  He has 2 tournaments left.

Eves' Family Vacation! Lake Powell 2019

We had a great time at lake Powell this year.  We left Thursday evening.  Dean actually came home sick from work that day, but wanted to come along anyway.  We pulled Matt's jet skis so he could pull his trailer.  We made it to the hotel around 9:00 our time and Dean went straight up to get in bed.  He was so sick.  The girls and I emptied the car and got everyone situated with beds.  Preston had stayed behind to go up with Stephanie Friday morning and meet us at the lake.  So we all got some good rest and headed out to Walmart to get some food, and to meet up with everyone at the lake.  Devin and Lisa brought their boat and we had the two jet ski's so we had a blast playing.  We found a perfect little beach and we were in heaven.  Dean still wasn't feeling too good so he stayed on the beach the whole day and sat in a chair.  We rode the surf board, tube, and jet ski's.  We got off the water right before it got to dark, and headed out to dinner.  We ate at a Mexican restaurant and it was Delicious.  The next day we woke up and Dean still wasn't feeling great, but we got out on the lake at 9:00 to enjoy a full day of fun.  We found a sand hill as high as a mountain and played on that.  We did cliff jumping, and played on the boat all day. Our family left that night to get home for church the next day.  We got home about 9:00.  Its was such a fun and fast weekend away.
Funny story at lunch I really noticed Brecken's front tooth being really loose.  He hates for me to touch it and puts up a stink.  Dean wasn't feeling well so I had Uncle Matt look at it.  Brecken started to cry telling him not to touch it.  As he was crying Matt pulled it out.  Brecken didn't even know he had pulled it out.  He kept telling him he didn't want it pulled out.  Finally Matt said look...and showed him his tooth.  He was in awe and so excited to have it out.  Tooth number 2 is gone.

Brecken's Teeth.

Poor Brecken.  He kept telling me a certain tooth hurt for a day or so.  Finally I grab my phone and put my flashlight into his mouth.  Sure enough there was a big hole in one of his teeth.  I feel bad because this one was worse than any of the others he has had.  He has already had like 4 cavities.  Poor guy did not get my teeth.  I didn't have a cavity tell I was 24 or so.  After my 3rd baby.  He ended up needing a shot for this one and gas.  He did awesome though, and the assistant and dentist, both kept telling me how great and calm he was.

Labor Day!

We had Tynlee and Laiklyn sleep over Sunday night into Labor day.   We had a low key labor day.  Preston had some test to study for, and Dean had school work as well.  We did however make it down to Miniature golf, and to do lunch.  Fiesta Fun got an upgrade on their miniature golf course, plus they added on, so it was really fun to see the new and improved stuff.  The kids divided and each went to a different course.  They all seemed to have a blast, and Dean and I were there to help Landon, and Lake out.  After mini golf, we headed to lunch at El Coyote.  We then shopped a little and returned the girls to their parents.  It was busy at Sweet rolled taco so I felt bad leaving them, but Lisa and Devin said they were almost done. Then we came home and had a relaxing rest of the day.
