Every year the elementary school does a costume parade. You go and watch your child and class walk around the school and show off their costumes. Brecken is in 1st grade so he was one of the last to go around the school. We sat outside and talked to him while he waited for his turn. Dean even got off work, and we had grandma Eves with us as well. Landon just wanted to be up by Brecken, and go to school the whole time we were there.
We had a blast carving our pumpkins this year. A very cold Cold front moved in the week of Halloween and boy did it get freezing. We ended up carving our pumpkins in the garage to stay warm. Preston was at Basketball practice so he missed out on all the fun. The rest of the kids enjoyed carving and designing their pumpkins. So glad I have Dean to do all the cleaning of the pumpkins. I would enjoy it so much better if they came already cleaned out. (maybe I'm onto something...start a business where we clean the pumpkins and have them all ready to carve)!! Okay ha ha maybe not.
Brecken had a great year playing both soccer and football this fall. He says he likes football better because he feel he didn't have to run as much. lol. He learned a lot from both coaches, and did awesome in both. He made some good first down in football...pulled a few flags, and was great in soccer in any position they put him in.
Good old sleepy hallow. I didn't get a picture of everyone together this year. Everyone was in a hurry to get in a get going. We had so much fun riding horses, petting all the animals, going on the train, playing on slides, and running through corn mazes. Grandpa spoiled the kids with tickets and let them buy some goodies and treats for the night. Landon and Brecken were in Heaven riding on that horse. The smile on their faces was awesome.
