Presidents Weekend.

We had family down so not a lot of pictures were taken.  We went to a few Soccer games with our cousins the Hansens and visited with grandma Monson.  The weather was perfect for soccer and playing outside. 

Preference 2020

Preston had his first date/dance this month.  He was asked by Meg Carter.  The day ended up being rainy so everyone had to change plans.  They ended up going to brunch and then Lazer tag, and bowling.  I  didn't get to get any pictures because the boys all rode together to the place they were taking pictures.  Since it was raining they had to do it inside or in their case under a roof.  The dance was held in the Dixie Center Ballroom.  He said he had a lot of fun. 

8th grade Gold Club basketball Champions!!

 Shaylee made the 8th grade school club team  They had enough girls for a Gold and Silver team.  Shaylee made the Gold team, and had a great season.  We had two games every Saturday for 2 months.  At the end they would have a tournament day.  Our girls had one bad Saturday they should have won so they were ranked 2nd going in.  It was a long day of games.  Starting at 11:00 for us and going until 8:30.  They played 4 games to get to the championship game.  We ended up playing the team that won us in regular season.  It was close game, but in the end we ran away with it and won the game.  The girls all played hard, and Shaylee had some key shots to keep us in some of the games.  She has really grown this last year with basketball and had a love for it.  She can't wait for tryouts for the school team next year. 

Valentines 2020!

We had a low key Valentines.  With Valentines on a Friday we decided to eat/ stay in.  We got the kids pizza, and Dean brought home Texas Roadhouse for us.  We then watched a movie and hung out as a family.  The kids love when we decorate the table and make it all fancy for our dinner.  So even though I  was still on crutches from my knee Landon and I  slowly got the table decorated, and their valentines put on it.  Sure do love this family of mine.

Park Day!

About a week after my surgery the girls had basketball games all morning.  Dean took the little boys to get them out of the house.  There was a 2 hour gap between one of the games so Shaylee and Dean took the boys to Thunder Junction.  At first Landon hated it because of the dinosaurs and volcanoes and noise it made, but he warmed up to it after awhile and hasn't stopped asking to go back since. 

Care Taker/ Side Kick

I don't think Dean or I had prepared ourselves enough with what this surgery would be like after I came home. Dean was home the first 2 days because of the weekend, but we didn't plan to well after that.  Poor Landon ended up helping me with a lot of things.  Also, being bored that mom couldn't do as much with him as I have before.  Over all he was a champ and I was glad for the company while everyone was at school and work.
