Shaylee's Basketball Tournament

Somehow Utah went to yellow and we were able to have some gatherings where we could play sports.  Of course everyone had to have their temp checked before they could enter, and masks were supposed to be required for the spectators.  Shaylee had fun playing for the high school coaches and has learned a lot from them.  She has really grown to love Basketball and loves trying to improve.  She has a beautiful shot and its fun watching her play. They won 2 and lost 1.  They went into bracket play and got out in the second round.

Splash Pad with cousins

We have tried to get creative with staying busy this summer in a pandemic.  They finally opened up some splash pads and asked people to social distance.  The younger kids were excited to go, and Addison was nice enough to play with them.  Shaylee and I  watched from the shade.  The ended up only staying for about 45 minutes and then wanted to go swim at grandma's.  So that's what we did.  We then had a movie night and sleep over where some may have fell asleep before the movie was over.  

Golf camp/Golfing with Dad

Brecken wanted to sign up for Golf camp.  His cousin Tynlee was going it was well so he felt comfortable going knowing someone there.  He had a blast, and enjoyed winning drinks and things. After their camp they went out to play a couple holes on the last day.  Aunt Steph came along to drive the cart for them, and watch them show off what they had learned.  Brecken received a free punch card to bring a parent to golf so Dean, Brecken, and Landon all went out one morning before it got to hot and had a blast chasing rabbits and hitting balls.  After golfing they got a huge donut to share.

Lake Days are the Best Days

 We love when Aunt Lisa and Uncle Devin invite our huge family to the lake.  We know it's not the easiest with all of us, but they sure are the best!! Surfing, Tubing, Swimming, and Family makes for the perfect evening.  The kids are all getting pretty good on the surf board and Addison and Shaylee love the tube.  Brecken and Landon beg to go on the tube and then they wont get off.  They love it so much.

Swimming, Snowcones, and Sunburns

Landon has been afraid to jump off the rock at grandmas this whole summer.  He hates putting his head under water.  Well he conquered his fear and hasn't looked back since.  He loves it and so we promised him a snow cone if he would do it.  He enjoyed it as did everyone else. Brecken had a mishap with sunscreen and not putting it on enough and he got really sunburned.  While the fresh skin was healing he got another burn which made the new skin bubble up and blister.  Poor guy leaves our house without a shirt on to play with friends and then comes home hours later with a really bad sunburn. Needless to say he will be swimming with a shirt for the rest of the summer. 

Happy Father's Day to the BEST DAD!

We love our dad so much we had to help him open up each of his gifts.  He is a great father and husband and works so hard for us.

 Katie and the girls came out for a little bit this summer and we got to spend some time with them.  We also had Kia and Mia over to swim too and we all had a blast.  It's been well over 100 this summer so the pool feels good to cool off and play in.
