Weekend shenanigans.

The last Saturday in February the Church put on a program for the primary kids called "Friend to Friend"  it was durin the boys soccer games, so we watched it later that day.  It was so cute and my boys loved it and watched over again.  They loved the drawing part of it and were so proud of their pictures of a child praying.  It was so fun to see them get excited about listening to the gospel with people their own age.  Addison was able to attend a friends sisters wedding and helping out all night with the little kids.  She loved it.  She loves little kids and they gravitate toward her.  She was so excited and looked so cute.  The boys had great soccer games.  Both scoring and playing awesome.  Brecken had our first goal for our team, and I think Landon had 4 or 5 goals for his team.  I've loved watching those to improve and play each season.

 

End of season

Shaylee finished her last game with a win.  The Team went 14-2.  There 2 loses came from desert hills.  They played so good together.  It was fun to watch.   Shaylee was high scorer for most of the games.  Her 3 point shot was on point this season.  Dean I  were the only ones that were aloud to come watch her so we enjoyed going to the games without the littles to distract us.  Great season Shaylee.

 

Peanut butter cookies with my little helper

 Landon wanted to make cookies and we decided on peanut butter cookies.  He was so enthralled by the fork making the design in the cookies he had to do every single one of them.  Notice the tongue out with concentration in the pictures.  He sure loved helping out and was so proud of his work and let everyone know he made the cookies.

Valentines

Valentines this year landed on a Sunday.  Dean and I  got take out Saturday night and had a little date at home.  The kids all handed out their valentines the friday before, and Landon got to make a valentines box for his class.  He wanted to do a race car track like Brecken did when he was in preschool.  He loved it and loved the candy he received more. Sunday morning I  let the family sleep in and made them a heart breakfast.  Dean got me Roses and chocolate covered strawberries and I got him some chocolates, and chapstick.  The kids all got a little goodie from us as well.  It was a really nice relaxing valentines day.

 

New Year's resolutions, and park day's.

 These two either get along really well or cant be in the same room together because they fight so much.  This week in school the weather was beautiful and so we made sure we got to the park to let the boys play.  While I  was there I  pulled out Breckens new years resolutions paper from his backpack and about died laughing.  He must hear me and Dean talking or our lectures for the older kids, because he wants to be patient, save his money and only spend it on what he needs.  lol.  No sneaking stuff and do better at his house.  I  just couldn't stop laughing as I  read it.  Those were some good resolutions for a 7 year old.  It was Dr. Seuss week at school and the above picture was taken on crazy hair day.  Landon had to be just like Brecken.

Addison's last game

 Addison had their big basketball championship tournament this last week.  The team improved so much this season, and learned a lot.  Addison had Aunt Steph as her assistant coach which she loved.  The had to play the #1 team to start out the tournament and lost to them.  Addison loves the game and wants to keep playing and learning so she can try out for the High School team next year.

Fiesta Fun...FUN

For Christmas the boys got Fiesta Fun gift cards in their stockings.  Dad and I  were going to take them on a date and let them have at the arcade...since that is what they are always wanting to do when we go there. The girls wanted to come along and knew this was the boys day, but they could help them if they wanted. We had a great time and the boys won a ton of tickets  1800 I  think.  They both bought a lot of the same thing, and were so excited to get all the little prizes and trinkets.  That was for sure one of the better ideas we have come up with for the boys, and I'm sure we will be doing it again.

 

More Basketball

 Shaylee had some great games this season, she loves the game and being out on the floor.  She has a beautiful shot and is there main outside shooter.  We are more than halfway done with the season and the freshman have only lost 1 game.
