Cousin Time!

Aunt Dani and Uncle Quin had their baby at the end of April so we got to have the cousins come have a sleepover to give them a little break.  We picked them up Friday around 4:00, and we had a sleepover.  We went to the park, the dollar store and got toys and treats. Watched a movie and had a great time together.  The next morning we also got to watch Tynlee and Laiklyn too.  Their mom and dad were out of town for their anniversary, and my mom was watching them, but all the adults had a golf tournament on Saturday morning as well as Dean and Preston.  So Saturday we were up early and we pulled weeds, then had breakfast got ready.  While I  was cleaning up breakfast and getting ready I  had the kids do How to draw and that was a big hit, after that we went to the store and packed a picnic lunch, and headed to the park/splashpad.  The kids had a blast and stayed busy for a couple hours.  After the splash pad we went and got slushies for pulling weeds and headed home.  By that time the other adults were done with the golf tourney so mom and dad came and grabbed Tyn, and Laik.  We ended up letting Kai and Mya stay tell about 5:00 and then taking them home.  Such a fun exhausting weekend.

Baby Goats

Man we have wanted to hold some baby goats for a long time.  Finally, we noticed new little ones popping up all over town, so we ended up at one of my dads neighbors, and had such a blast holding and chasing them.  Landon didn't know if he wanted to hold one by himself, but he loved to pet them.  Brecken was getting attacked by a couple of them who wanted to play with him.  Lisa was in baby goat heaven where all her dreams were made, and Grandpa was mistaken for the mama a few times while they tried to get some milk from him.  It was so fun and everyone had big old smiles as we left.

Prom 2021 Preston and Ashlyn

Dean took the little boys with him for the weekend up to Grandma Monson's and to go look at some property we bought up at Bear Lake.  I was supposed to go but didn't want to miss Preston's prom, plus I  was in charge of the dinner and we were doing it outside and the weather wasn't looking great.  So Saturday morning we had to make the decision to have it inside and my house was the only house big enough to fit 20 people to eat.  It was a lot of work, but the girls helped me and we were able to clean and decorate and still have time to pick up the food.  We were exhausted, and the night was still young.  The kids stayed at our house from 6:30, tell almost 10 before they decided to go to the dance, that was down in St. George.  It was a lot of fun to have all the kids at my house, but we were done after that.  For their day date they went down to the house of Jump, and played down there then got lunch and headed home to let everyone get ready for pictures.
