Friday we all got up and headed out to go Ice Skating as a family. Heidi's family met us there and Syd's family came after we were done. We Ice skate for about 2 hours, and had a blast. I didn't get to Ice skate last time because of my knee so I enjoyed it. Brecken did amazing and picked up on it fast. Last time he was still using the walker thing. Him and Kai figured it out and Dean worked with him and he had a blast. Landon was CRAZY with a capital C. He got that walker and took off. Trying to do jumps, running, spinning, you named it he was trying to do it. Many times he would think he was good enough and even left the walker behind to show us how good he was. He did get better and looked great but still needed that walker. Toward the end dean had him skating to him. He just likes to go fast and without the walker it was a little much. The rest of the kids have Ice Skating down. After Ice Skating we headed out to lunch with everyone to El Matador. It was grandpa Monson's favorite place to eat. We enjoyed the people and conversation and loved being able to visit with everyone. After lunch we headed back to moms to visit and relax. We watched a few football games and Jazz game and then headed to bed. Saturday we woke up and decided to take the kids shopping to get their names they had drawn done. We went early enough that the stores were bare. It was so nice. We got everyone's gifts done, but Prestons. Brecken has him and we are still looking for something for him. We then got all bundled up and hit up the ogden Christmas Village. It was so busy, but also so beautiful and fun. The lights and mini houses were amazing. We were all in heaven. We left the next morning but enjoyed our time with the Monson crew.
