Preston and his team have had a blast with rec ball this year. From custom jerseys, to media day, to fans, black outs, white outs, cheerleaders, teachers, principles, and seminary teachers coming to support these boys, it has been a blast for them. They went in to the last game undefeated. They were playing another undefeated team, and we just couldn't get anything to drop... We ended up losing, but it was still fun to watch these boys all season. They sure our a good group of kids.

Addison Turns 15
Addison turned 15 January 25th. She was so excited. We woke up to presents, donuts, and singing. She wanted a record player for her birthday as well as an echo dot. She got some shoes and clothes as well. Her young women's leader wanted to take her and a friend to lunch for her birthday so they went to DQ and I told Addison I would bring her a birthday lunch the next day since that's usually what I do for my kids. As soon as she got out of school I made sure Preston was watching the boys and Addison and I took off to do some shopping. We started at target, then went to 5 below, ross, and TJ Maxx. We met Dean at TJ Maxx and then we headed to dinner. She loves Sushi and wanted to try somewhere that had sushi. We hit up the new Sakura and had a great time together. Addison loved her dumplings, and sushi, as well as the mushroom soup her and I shared. She was not happy about the fact that we told the waiter it was her birthday. She handled it like a champ though and gave Dean her cheesecake. After she said she wanted to go to young womens that night since that is where all her friends would be. We dropped her off there and let her have fun. The next day I got her some Sushi and Cookies to share at the school and dropped them off. She then had some friends go to the mall and shop on Saturday as well. I sure do love this spunky, happy, loving 15 year old. She brings a smile to our house, and is always willing to help anyone out. She is a great sister, and daughter. Love you Addison. She wants to wait a little bit to get her permit tell she can study and pass the test.

Shaylees Basketball Season cont..
Shaylees j.v. team has had a pretty good season so far. They've lost 2 games, and won 5. We have 4 more games to go. Shaylee has been playing really well, and her defense this year has stepped up a lot. She is having fun and loves her team. We love watching her and she has a lot of fans that come to watch her. (mostly family)...;)

MLK day.
We spent the day as a family playing pickleball together and getting some Jimmy Johns. Dean had work off that day so we decided to spend the day as a family Shaylee only had bball practice tell 10:00 so we waited for her and then loaded everyone up. It was supposed to be a pretty warm day, but some clouds moved in and made it a little cool, but not bad for a January day. We had fun and I remembered how much I like pickleball but how bad I'm at it as well. We came home and then did some asking for preference with Shaylee and some friends, and Preston got asked as well. I'm excited for them.

Shaylee El Cheapo Dance
Shaylee got asked to the El Cheapo dance by Benson. He bought them matching socks to wear for the dance with a cute saying. The had breakfast together then went on a hike, came back and went hot tubbing, and played some games. Then came home and got ready for the dance. It was a neon out dance (they would be dancing under a blacklight). So they bought shirts and decorated them as well. They had a blast.

Jazz Game
For Preston's 18th birthday present we bought him and some of his friends tickets to a Jazz game.I I They left early friday morning to go get covid tested and then shopped ate, and played around tell the game. The Jazz won which made it even better. They ended up driving home after the game so Preston could get to work the next morning and the boys all had a rec basketball game sat afternoon they wanted to be home for. These boys sure are a good group. While Dean took the older boys up to the game...I took the younger boys to the movies. The girls already had plans and it was just the little boys. We went to SING 2 and loved it.
