Summer Things

Friends Birthday parties, Painting, City Pool Swimming, and Carlee's bridal shower.  We had a fun last few days in May 

 

May 23rd - 29th

Since Preston's P day call landed on Memorial day we were on the go, and had family with us so many people got to talk to him.  He talked a long time and seemed in good spirits.  He had just had Zone conference, and interviews with the President and said everything was going well.  He loves his companion and is still figuring out this whole district leader thing.  

 

Memorial weekend

Friday Brecken and Owen did a lemonade stand and had a blast.  They made about 91$ but had to split it with mark who came later.  Saturday we went on a walk and found some baby goats.  They were the cutest little things and loved to eat the weeds and grass we picked for them.  We all meet down in St. George and went on a hike together with Lisa's family and Aunt Stephanie.  After the hike we went and got Brunch at a really good place.  The kids and everyone devoured our food.  We then come back over to Hurricane and  played pickleball with family and the kids played at the park while we played some good games. Later in the afternoon we hit up Sky Mountain and played 9 holes.  It was a fun filled day.  Then Sunday we hosted everyone for sunday dinner.  One of Preston's Companions came by and dropped off some things Preston had for us.  His name is Elder Mendenhall and Preston and him really got along well.  He talked to us for a little bit but had to get on the road to get home.  It was so great to see him and hear him talk about Preston on the mission.We Played some card games and went on a walk with the extended family. Monday we got up and went and visited some graves over in La Verkin of Grandparents and family, and headed to passport furnishings where we bought a couch, and then went and floated the river after talking to Preston on the phone.  The river was so much fun and we all had a blast.  Well Landon didn't know if he liked it and so there were some issues there but overall he loved it and we floated for a couple miles.
