Landon and Sports camp

I  signed Landon up for a week long sports camp at the rec center.  Shaylee was working that camp so he was excited to be with him.  He had a blast and came home excited each day telling us how awesome he did and how he had so much fun and made new friends. We will have to do more sports camps next summer becasue he loved it.

 

June 26th-July2nd

Preston survived Transfers and is in the same area as District leader with his Companion Elder Pinto.  Who he is training.  He was excited he got to stay with his companion one more time and enjoys Elder Pinto as a companion.  They had a baptism this weekend with a girl they had been teaching.  Preston mentioned that his companion and him have reached a drought and need to start finding more investigators.  They are working hard and loving the new district.  They received a couple new sisters and some Elders into their district and it's been fun.

 

Girls Camp MOAB

The girls set off to Moab for ward Girls camp this year.  They left the 21st of June and came home the 24th.  This was Shaylee's last girls camp and she had a lot of stuff to help with and do.  Addison also had some mountain moments and had to help.  They did a great job from what I  heard and they all had a blast rafting the Colorado River all day, and Hiking to delicate arch in arches national park. They stayed in some small cabins at a KOA so they had some AC, and a swimming pool they got to play in as well.

We woke up Saturday morning with the intention of getting some house stuff done we put off playing all week.  We woke up and did yard work.  I  mowed while Dean weedeated and edged. We finished up some last little things on the shed and started moving things in there.  We then were talking about heading to St. George to pick up some organizing stuff we needed to finish up the garage, while we were in the garage the wheelers came over and asked us if we wanted to go tube the river.  We jumped at the chance and had a blast with the boys and friends.  It was a little long and we all got burnt on our legs and arms, but the water was a little chilly we didn't notice the heat.  We ran into a few or a lot of rocks at the end of the river where are poor bums were getting beat up but over all we had a blast.  We were there for longer than we thought and didn't get home until  almost 4:00.  The girls had gotten home around 2:30 so they were a little worried when we didn't answer because we were out of cell service.  We were beat but left the boys with Shaylee and headed down to Lowes to buy our things we needed for the garage and picked up Cafe Rio for us.  We then came home and started Avatar 2.  It was so long and we were so tired we didn't make it only about an hour in.  Dean was then called outside again to play fugitive with all the neighbor kids.  Such a fun day to a fun week.
