We had a wonderful Christmas Day. We were truly blessed this year with so much. We loved spending the day together. Dean didn't have to work the day before Christmas or the day of Christmas..that was a first in 6 years. We are excited to have him around a lot more often. Santa spoiled us yet again. I guess he thinks my kids are on the nice list or something. It was so fun to see Breck at his first Christmas. The older kids I think were more excited for him. They loved handing him his presents and opening them for him. Preston had asked Santa for an electric scooter, and he sure was excited to get one. He was excited for everything he received. He was the slowest of the kids opening the gifts. He wanted to savor it I guess. Shaylee asked for a Rainbow loom, and she also got a Salon Doll. Very excited and asks on a daily basis to wash the dolls hair. Addison was the fasts present opener. No surprise there. She also asked for a rainbow loom, and has already made many bracelets. She to got a salon doll, and cant wait to use the real curling iron, and hair dryer that came with it. Breck received a few toys and books, hopefully that will keep him happy for a little while. It was a wonderful day full of Good food, Family, and Love. Merry Christmas.

Christmas Eve!!
After Breck's nap we headed up for our annual Christmas Eves party. We had a great time with our traditional soup and rolls for dinner, then onto the games of musical chairs. Minute to win it games, and of course the Present stealing game. Brecken ended up stealing a box of Cheerios I think he'll like them soon. Preston ended up with homemade chips, and salsa, Addison ended up with a note book and pen, Shaylee a big candy cane full of gumballs, and I think I got a planner, and pens, and Dean ended up with a jar of chocolate. We ended the night on a spiritual note with a few movies of the true meaning of Christmas, and the Nativity. After which Grandma, had to give all the grand kids their Christmas pj's. We had a wonderful day, and enjoyed wonderful company. I sure do love my family.
My Boys!!
I bought the boys matching ties this year for Christmas. Don't know how they felt about it, but I gave it to them early so they could wear them to church the Sunday before Christmas. I think they all look so handsome. Thanks for pleasing your wife, and mom boys. I love them.
Candy Making & Live Nativity!
I have a bunch of cute pictures of the kids helping me make some candy, but these are the only 2 that wanted to come off my phone right now. So will go with it. We had fun making Pretzel's with Rollo's, and nuts, the kids loved these, and so did everyone else. I also made caramels and Fudge. Yummy!!! We had a good time together and hanging out as a family.
Later that night, after dad got off work we headed down to the Live Nativity with my side of the family. Tradition we've done since the kids were little. The night was actually pleasant, and wasn't to cold. Brecken hated being all bundled up though, but nothing unusual there. ha ha. Dean also forgot his coat, which is why we have Brecken's lovely bright blanket in the photo's. I love the live Nativity...because it tells us about the TRUE meaning of Christmas, and it lasts 15 minutes tops. The setting, and live animals are also a must. We had a great weekend before Christmas.
