Toquerville Falls

Toquerville Falls Summer 2018
While Dean had his big break for the 4th we decided on Friday to go exploring and do Toquerville falls.  We had never been before even though it is so close to were we live.  We took the 4 wheeler and the Ranger and headed out in the afternoon.  It was so hot, and everyone was glad that our destination made it to water at the end of it.  We didn't know the trail at all so a few times we thought we were lost, but after much doubt we finally found it.  Everyone was so glad to get into the water.  We had so much fun catching pollywog's, and cliff jumping and just playing in the water.  It was a blast, and our kids loved it.  Addison was the first to jump off the cliff after Dean found out if it was deep enough.  Next was Preston, but the whole time they are jumping Brecken is begging to jump.  I kept saying no you are to young, but he really wanted to.  I figured if he wanted to who was I to stop him.  Sure enough he walked to the edge and jumped right to Dean.  I couldn't believe it.  He surprises up every time we try new things.  Shaylee then jumped off followed by Dean.  I stayed with Landon while they did the jumping.  We had so much fun there and cant wait to go back soon.

Boating for Lisa's Birthday!

Dean had the 4th which was a Wednesday, the day after the 4th, and he always has Friday off.  We had so much fun with our dad home for the week.  The dad after the 4th we ended up going to the lake that morning for Lisa's Birthday.  They are always so nice taking my kids out and letting them play on the lake.  We had so much fun surfing, dancing to the music, and tubing.  My kids are becoming fish.  Also, Brecken is such a little dare devil.  He wanted to learn to surf, but we thought surfing with Lisa would be a good start.  He loved it and cant wait to do it again.

4th of July

4Th of July Day

We started the morning off early with a trip to St. George to go to a 7:45 parade.  We were able to get a seat and the front of the parade as well as in the shade.  We were in heaven.  The kids loved it because they got tons of candy and things, and I loved it because it wasn't to hot.  The parade lasted about 30 minutes or so.  We then headed home to pack a picnic and get our fishing gear, 4 wheeler and ranger loaded and go play up in Kolob.  We went with Lisa and Devin's family, and aunt Stephanie.  The weather was perfect, and the company was even better.  We played by the water, played in the toys, and went fishing, and exploring.  The kids with Devin's help caught a really good size fish.  We of course did the catch and release.  The kids were a little sad, but glad we didn't have to kill it.  Landon loved the dirt, and trying to get in the water.  We left around 3:30, to head down the mountain and to grandma and grandpas for a BBQ, and swimming.  We had a fun time and being with family is the best.  Later that night we did some fireworks in front of our house, and the weather was perfect.  We missed going up north to the Monson side, but Deans mom and dad have been having some health problems and they asked that no one come up.  The kids missed the traditions from Centerville, but it was fun to do some of our own new traditions.
