The BIG 16!!

Wow, I cant believe Preston turned 16.  Time goes by so fast.  He is on the high school basketball team so when it came to find time to get his driving test done he had to take the 6:00 a.m. driving session.  He didn't mind though and it was only for a week.  He passed, and then did all his online test he had to do so come December 30th...we were at the Driver's License division as soon as it opened.  He got a bunch of car stuff for his birthday and has been out cleaning it since he got his license.  He also got Jazz tickets to a Laker's game in March he is excited about.  He is a great son, and tries his best at everything he does.  He is a smart/great student..although this 10th grade year is gibing him a run for his money.  He said it is his hardest year yet.  He didn't take the easy way out and took some classes to further his education faster toward his career.  He did Chemistry, Sports medicine, Honors classes, and Spanish 3.  He has had to work more than ever on his grades, but seems to find time between being on the golf team, and basketball teams.  He loves all sports and did so awesome this fall in golf.  He found a love for it.  He loves blizzards, and eating out, being with his friends and watching Jazz games.  We sure do love him.

Christmas Day!

The kids were nice and let us sleep in tell about 7:30, even though we heard them up around 7:00.  I got up and made breakfast and had it in the oven.  We then had the kids line up and head downstairs.  It was a great Christmas.  The kids new what they wanted and I think Santa was able to get it for them.  Landon just wanted Mighty pups.  Only thing he wanted anything mighty pups.  So he got Mighty pups, a scooter, and tool bench to play with.  Brecken wanted anything with a kit at the end of it.  Art Kit, Craft kit, science kit, rock kit.  You get the idea.  So that is what he got plus a hover board go kart.  Addison asked for a Hover board, and a chrome book.  Shaylee wanted all things basketball.  New basketballs, shoes, shorts workout shirts.  She also got a printer that will print pictures off of her phone.  Preston wanted a new set of Irons, a range finder, and chrome book.  We made him wait on the range finder for Christmas instead of during golf season so he was excited to get one.  Over all I think we all got spoiled rotten and we had a Great Christmas.  We sure were blessed this year.

Christmas Eve night

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Eves home around 5:00, for dinner and our annual Christmas Eve festivities.  This year Aunt Stephanie planned some fun games to go along with the 12 days of Christmas song.  We are all competitive, but it was a blast.  We had birds in a pear tree.  We had to throw birdies in a basket we were holding being the tree.  We had 2 turtle doves. where we had to stack 2 turtle candies and 2 dove candies on top of each other.  Pipers pipping.  We had to drop pipe cleaners from our chins into a pipe on the table.  We also had 4 calling birds. where we had to call 4 different people on our team phone and get them to cheap like a bird.  It was so fun and we all had a blast.  After we played our games we had our white elephant game, and then our program on the savior to end the night.  Landon and Breck both got some winner gifts in the white elephant and it was fun to watch their reactions when they opened up a new one or when theirs got stolen. We got home around 8:30 and did our family names gift exchange, and tried to get the kids to bed.  Preston and Dean stayed up watching the BYU bowl game that night.  So we hoped Santa didn't pass us with how late they were getting to bed.  The little boys slept up in Addison and Shaylee's room and everyone was so excited.
