Thanksgiving Break Day 2

The morning after Thanksgiving we all got up and ate Turkey Pancakes.  We did it the day after so the Mellen's could join us this time.  After Breakfast we hurried out the door to go Ice Skating.  The kids love this because it's the only time we Ice Skate.  Landon even tried on skates and had a blast having dad skate him around.  Eventually Deans back started hurting so we used the stroller too.  Brecken did so good this time.  By the end of the skate session he was a pro and didn't need any help to get around.   The last 5 minutes he fell and hit his face.  He was done after that but it was fine because our shift was over.  Addison also took a bad fall and landed on her hip and elbow.  It was bruised up as soon as she got off the Ice.  Preston ended up playing Basketball in the Rec center gym.  Shaylee is a great skater, and lasted most of the time before her feet started killing her.  After skating we headed up to Grandpa Monson's grave to see the headstone that just got put on the week before.  Well, a snow storm decided to happen as soon as we started driving there.  By the time we got to Grandpa's grave it was coming down sort of wet and cold.  Needless to say we didn't last long at the grave.  We got some pictures..mom put some flowers down and we left.  We headed to Cafe Rio for lunch that's when it really started coming down fluffy and hard.  It's so fun to watch.  We got home around 3:00 and the kids played some more in the snow and we took the older kids out shopping that evening.  Saturday we started out playing in the snow again, and then shopping most of the day away with the kids.  We had a blast.  We got home around 2:00 to eat lunch, and then went and saw Frozen 2 with Grandma and some of the cousins.  We liked it okay.  It was a very fun and relaxing weekend we missed Grandpa Monson and his sweet personality around, but Grandma Monson made it so nice and fun for everyone.  We headed home Sunday morning we hardly any traffic.
