3v3 tournement

One of Shaylee's friends mom had seen a sign up for a 3v3 tournament in Cedar City and asked Dean and I  to coach and put together a team.  We got everything together and put together a Hurricane Tiger team.  The girls practiced every morning before their tournament, and were a little excited to play in a tournament again.  Last time they did they got golf at the summer games.  We started off great with a 8-1 win over a st George team.  The next team we played was from Cedar and we got an early lead, but ended up losing it in the end.  We then played mesquite and won them as well.  We played another St. George team and won them.  So we had to go up  against the Cedar team for 1st place.  The girls were so hot all day long, but this game we had a little rain cloud just covering out grass area.  It was so fun watch the girls play this tea again. We ended up winning them like 5-1 or something.  The girls were so excited to get their medals and take first.  Such a fun day.  We had Lena, Mya, Nizhoni, and Ashlyn on our team with Shaylee.

Cowabunga Bay

Last minute we decided to head to Cowabunga bay as a family before school and sports tryouts started. We invited Aunt Marie and Uncle Erics family, and the kids all had a blast.  Preston invited Payton so since no kids were his age.  Landon loved the kiddie area, wave pool and Lazy river.  We went on a few tube rides, and he didn't care for them as much.  The big kids stayed busy all day and seemed to have had a blast.  We lasted tell about 5:00 then decided we were starving and headed out to grab a bite to eat and get home before 9:00.

High School Soccer Tryouts

Shaylee had Hurricane High School Soccer tryouts.  I  cant believe she is a Freshman.  Her and all her friends made the J.V. team and they were so excited.  It sure has been fun to watch these girls grow up and play together.

24th Of July

We didn't have any big plans for the 24th of July.  All the parades had been canceled, and Quin and Dani had asked us to watch their kids overnight while they did a race.  It was fun for the kids to get to spend some time with Mya and Kai.  The girls and I had to work at Sweet rolled taco for the first half of the day.  We came home around 4:00, Dean had taken the boys to buy some fireworks to play with that night with the cousins.  The kids loved changing and trying to catch the parachute rocket.  Sparklers are always a hit, and the big ones in the sky are our favorite.

Swim continued..

We pretty much took Swimming all summer long.  The boys loved their teacher (heath), and learned so much from the start of the summer to the end.  Landon would cry when he had to get in the water, and he would not put his head in for no reason whatsoever.  We tried bribing and everything he hated his face in the water.  By the end of the summer he was swimming without floaties, and loves to jump off the diving board and swim to the side.  He loves going under water and he swims like he has no fear in the world.  Breckens technique has improved so much our swim teacher asked him to join his swim club.  Overall a very productive swimming season.

Sunday Pictures

First time back to church since Covid 19 lock down started.  We didn't get a picture of Dean and Preston because with Dean in the Bishopric he needs to leave early to sanitize everything down and make sure everything is ready for the ward to come.  Preston goes early to help sanitize the sacrament area and get it all prepared.  Our ward goes once a month...the second Sunday of the month.  Our ward is divided into 3 different wards.  9:00, 10:30, and 12:00 time.  We are only supposed to go for 45 minutes or less. Dean conducts and our names land in the 10:30 time.  We decided to take some pictures all dressed up in our Sunday best since we finally had someplace to go.  Love this cute little family of mine and that we finally get to go to church even if it is only once a month and for under 45 minutes.
