Teacher appreciation Doors

This year I was in charge of 2 doors for Teacher appreciation. I'm a room mom for Laoshi Cheng, and then I  did the custodian door.  I  had fun doing them and love the bright colors that went with it.  

 

Shaylee Cedar Ridge Golf Tournament

Shaylee was up in Cedar for High School golf this last week.  I  didn't make it up...(I  was given a warning and next time I  talk to her on the course she would be DQ. ) So I  stayed away so I  wouldn't be tempted to talk to my daughter.  She had a great day though and shot a personal PR for herself 105.  She had fun with the girls she was with and that's what we like to hear.  

 

Addison's Broadway Magic (Sophomore)

Addison was part of the Sophomore classes Broadway Magic Dance.  She has really started to love to dance this last year and enjoyed performing with her classmates.  She did a great job and had so much fun doing this dance.

What's up everyone Elder Monson is back! Here's what happened! We had 3 baptisms it was super cool and spiritual before last transfer ended.. and then also last Sunday, not yesterday, we had one for our friend Fabio.. 

Now, you might be wondering why it says call me Daddy.. good question. I am training right now I've got my first son. His name is Elder Hardin, like James Harden but less cool. We are working super hard and seeing lots of miracles! 

One for example: one miracle is one day 2 or 3 months ago I was walking with Elder Torgerson on divisions just beasting away. And then Google maps told us to turn left. We did so, and a woman stopped us while walking asking if we could help her because her daughter was kidnapped. We asked her to write her name and her daughters down and we'd pray for her and send texts checking up on her.. well. Right after thus conversation google maps told us we had been going the wrong way all the sudden?? Maybe it was a coincidence maybe not but qe sure were lucky whatever it was.. About a month ago she came up to me as we were walking somewhere (I didn't recognize her) and she started talking about how they found her daughter, I immediately recognized the daughters name that we have been praying for and was so excited our prayers had been answered and she was found. We are now going to baptize this woman, her daughter that was taken, and her twin sister this week. This is the Lord's work that he is directly involved in.

Prayers: One of the most humbling things is listening to a prayer here. Teaching them how to pray, and when they do the grateful fors always outweigh the please bless me/us.. and the please blesses are so that they may have food the next day, so that they can be healthy and continue to live, so that their family can grow and learn and be okay. Sure does make me feel guilty for all those prayers I said asking where the Jazz could please win or that I could get what I wanted for Christmas I'll tell yall that much. It was been really interesting to see my own "needs" change too in prayers.. what I feel I need or want help with in my life or the lives of loved ones.

He ended up having a fun young man offer to pick him and his companion up so really cool Yezzy (Kyna West shoes made by Adidas) in the US they go between 395-550$.  They were excited to get them back and have many plans to wear them for a upcoming baptism.  He mentioned he had a couple baptisms cancel early Sunday morning because they were sick and at the hospital so they are hoping to get them on for this coming Sunday.  Can't wait to hear from him.

 

Gunlock Falls

We jumped on the bandwagon and went to see Gunlock falls while they were overflowing from all the spring run off.  They were amazing and it was super crowded, but we loved seeing them and hiking up and around them. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Eves with aunt Stephanie. The weather was perfect and the hike wasn't bad at all.  Short and sweet. Brecken and Landon were champs and loved to have hike and jump around the rocks. After we got done we went the back way home and stopped in Veyo and grabbed lunch at a mexican place and grab pie for Sunday dinner from the famous Veyo pie Bakery.  The girls had Dance practice, and golf lessons so they missed out on our fun day. Sure do love our adventures.
