Sunday morning the boys were up around 8:00 to see what the Easter Bunny brought them. We woke up the girls and headed downstairs. They got their easter baskets, plus a swimsuit and Easter Church clothes. The boys got some basketball cards and bubbles, and the girls got some sunglasses and things. We then got ready for church. We had an hour sacrament meeting and then came home and had a nice brunch together, We then met at Grandpa and Grandma Eves for an Easter dinner, Easter Egg hunts, and Easter devotional. The kids had a blast hiding the eggs for the younger kids and then grandma and grandpa did an egg hunt for all the kids to find their egg with their name on it. They all got some money and everyone was pretty excited. Afterwards we had a devotional on why we even celebrate easter and watched a few clips of our savior Jesus Christ getting resurrected and what that means for all of us. We are so blessed to have our Savior who took upon him all our sins and made it possible that we can be an eternal family and become whole again. I love this gospel and Easter season when we really get to reflect on his life and ministry and him overcoming death.
