The Beach
(Day 4)
On day 4 we checked out of our hotel in Disneyland to head to the Beach, and San Diego (for Sea World). We were pretty excited to go to the beach. It was a beautiful day, and we just went to Huntington beach. The kids scream for a good hour every time the water would touch them. They had a great time playing both in the water and in the sand. I enjoyed putting my feet in and watching all the excitement, just like all the other women in the group. We love the beach and wish we could have stayed there all day, but new that fun things awaited us at the resort we would be staying at the rest of the trip. So off we headed to find our new home for the next few days.
Paradise Point
(Day 4)
After we played at the Beach all afternoon. We headed off to find our new place to stay "Paradise Point Resort." We were so excited to stay here and couldn't wait to go exploring. As you turn into this resort. You drive down this beautiful road. Trees lined all the sides with pretty flowers, and just as we went under one of the tree's a huge branch decides to fall off onto our car. It hit pretty hard, but over all not to much harm was done. We did laugh later though. What are the odds at the exact moment the branch decided to break off. There were no cars in front of us of behind us. Oh well. We then got straight into our swimming suits and headed to one of the six pools on the resort. After that we got ready for our fun Hot Dog roasting Dinner on the beach right by our rooms. That was sure a lot of fun. Grandma went to so much trouble...she made each family a color coated bag to match these roasting sticks she gave each family. Such a great idea. Thank you grandma and grandpa we love them. After hot dogs the kids played on the beach while the adult broke out the smore's. The kids were to busy playing in the sand to want to take time for smore's so we ate them. But when it was time to go back to our rooms...all the kids complained that they didn't get smore's.
We then got ready for bed to enjoy our next day at Sea World. (Never a dull moment on this trip).
