Boat/Lake day with our fav

Lisa and Devin were so nice and invited us on the first boat day of the season.  We got Addison to come with us and Aunt Stephanie.  It was a little chilly in the early morning hours but by the end of the day we were all out of our sweatshirts.  Everyone in my family did surfing.  Landon is getting so close and I  hope can get it this summer.  Brecken threw in the rope but it didn't last.  Maybe next time.  Addison also threw in the rope, but we just can't seem to keep on the wave.  We had a blast and can't wait to go back out.

 

First golf of summer

After the rush funplex of Brecken and pickleball for us we meet up to all go golfing at sky mountian.  It was a little over cast and felt so good.  We had a great time and was glad at Stephanie could come and help out these young boys with some pointers.  Brecken loves working with Steph and does better when she is there to coach him then when we try to help him. He even got a par today.

 

First day of Summer

Even though we didn't go to school the last 2 days of it, we celebrated the first day of summer on May 21st.  Breckens friends celebrated by going to the new Rush funplex that just opened up and Dean and I  took Landon to play pickleball.  Brecken and his friends had a blast and we loved playing with Landon.  He is quiet the little player in pickleball.                                           

Honor Roll Awards Assembly

Brecken was invited to the end of year award assembly even though they said he wasn't.  I  called just to make sure and they told me I  would have received an invitation if he was getting an award.  I  told them that I  don't receive their email and so I  was checking they told me not to come because he didn't get anything.  Well, this mom was mad.  He did get an award and I  didn't get to go to the assembly.  He came home and told me all about it through.  This kid works hard in his classes and is a pretty great student.  He deserved this award.  Great Job Brecken.

 

Pinata party

Landon's 3rd grade teacher promised them a pinata party for end of year party.  They all got a turn hitting the pinata before it broke.  Landon mentioned after he didn't feel good.  Sure enough the next day was his big multiplication party he earned all year long and I  signed up to help.  He had to stay home because of a stomach bug.  He was so bummed to miss it, but I  brought him home a color changing spoon so that helped a little bit of him not feeling to bad he was missing the final days of school.

 

May 12th-18th 2026

Shaylee didn't write an email this week so you get a mom report.  She is making it (barley) in B.C.  She misses other missionaries she can see and she misses the stores.  She is about 3 hours to the closest missionaries. Their zone meets on zoom.  They cant get together with anyone on P-day.  She loves her trainee she is training. Sis. Day.  She is meeting with and teaching a bunch of filipinos.  She says the ward is a good one.  She was so excited to get to go on splits with her two favorites. Sis. Ballard, and Sis. Clark.  The are the STL's over her area so she was so excited to see them.  She is struggling but doing the work and all that is asked of her.
