Basketball

The kids all played Basketball this season.  I think they had a lot of fun learning and playing the game.  Preston is in his 3rd year of playing ball.  He was on the 3-4th grade teams.  Dean helped assistant coach.  Preston so far has had a big growing year.  He is doing awesome.  He loves to play, and understands the game really well.  He is a great play maker.  That's what we call him.  He keeps his head up and looks for the open man or sees what is going on around him.  He is having a lot of fun, and learning a lot this season.  Oh, also if you can't see Preston in any of the pictures, he has on these really bright neon yellow shoes….you can't miss them.  We get comments on them every game.

 The girls were on the same team which consisted of 1-2nd graders girls.  Boy, was it fun to watch.  They learned a lot and I think had a fun time playing on the same team.  It was a lot of back and forth.  Dribble a little,  run a lot …repeat.  we did make a few baskets, and they improve each game.  Shaylee is very aggressive and gets a lot of steals, and Addison has really good dribbling skills, and enjoys bringing down the ball.  This was their first year, so we will see if they like it enough to want to play next year.
