St. Patricks day was pretty busy so we fit in what "green" fun we could. We started the morning off with Green smoothies, spinach (Green) eggs, and toast. We then dressed in our green clothes, and a fun green necklace, that aunt Heidi, and her kids made for us. I was in such a hurry I didn't get a picture, but the kids loved them and were sure excited to wear them. They had a little bottle on the necklace and in the bottle it was full of green nerds. Simple, but cute. After the kids went off to school Brecken and I headed to story time, and read some fun St. Patrick day books, and learned about leprechauns. We then made a shamrock necklace with a piece of gold on it that we found from the leprechaun. Of course, Brecken found out there was chocolate in it and then it was all down hill from there, that poor necklace didn't stand a chance. Preston was gone all day that day from piano to basketball to scouts, so I didn't get a picture of him in his clothes and dinner, but I got the girls. For dinner we had pesto chicken so it looked green. Spinach which everyone of my kids like, except for Preston, Grilled red potatoes, and a Green salad. It was fun to celebrate this holiday with the kids even if it was some simple things.
