We left June 29th a Thursday for our 4th of July trip. We left around 4:00, and so Landon had no naps left. I was a little nervouse. He did amazing though, and we only stopped once to feed Landon and get a dinner in Nephi. We got to the Monson's that night, and were excited to see Grandma and Grandpa. Friday morning we ran up to My Grandpa and grandma Williamson's, to see my Grandpa who had not been doing well for awhile now. He was on hopsice and we worried we wouldn't make it in time. We did though...It made me cry to see the difference in the grandpa I remembered and the one I was seeing in front of me. He was such a good man, and I had the hardest time leaving him to take my famiy to Lagoon...I just wanted to sit by his side in hopes I would get a noise or a sound of recognition coming from him. He sobbed a few times while we were there, but he was past the talking stage. We stayed there for about an hour and then headed off to Lagoon to play for the day with some of our favorite people the Belnaps.

I got a bunch of pictures of Brecken, but the big kids were everywhere and when I was with them, it was to ride the rides and not take pictures. We loved hanging out with friends, and didn't stop once we got there. Around 1:00, while I was feeding Landon I got a text saying Grandpa Williamson had died. I felt so blessed I got to see him on last time. We then went to Lagoona beach to play in the water while it was hot, and then ran back out to get on more rides. Brecken surprised us all when he LOVED all the scary rides. He had such a blast with Briggs. So glad those two had each other. We ended the day around 8:00 and came home to eat and go to bed. Landon decided he wasn't a big fan of not sleeping in his own bed, and would wake me up 2-3 times a night. we had a house full so the only way I could get him to stop crying was to eat. It made for some long nights.
