Black Friday and Thanksgiving Break

Friday after Thanksgiving people came back over to moms to eat leftovers, play games and hot tub.  We talked a few people into going to our church to play basketball and play some games.  It was a lot of fun, and the kids loved having the adults play.  Saturday Dean decided to take the boys to the driving range so I  grabbed the girls and headed to St. George to do some shopping.  We ate at Jimmy Johns are favorite, and then met up with Dean to go bowling with quin and Dani.  We ran into Marie and her family and had a blast bowling and hanging out together. After bowling I  took the boys to the park to let off some more energy.  It was a beautiful day as long as you could stay in the sun.  They had fun at the park and then we headed home to watch a Christmas movie.

 

Thanksgiving 2020 Eves side

Thanksgiving was a good one this year.  The food was so yummy, and the company even better.  We talked Grandma Hannah into coming down even with covid going on.  We all chipped in on the cooking.  I was in charge of the potatoes this year.  We had fun playing games, and watching Christmas Chronicles 2.  I  got to sit by grandma Hannah while we ate, and I don't think I stopped hearing how yummy the turkey was or how she doesn't cook her stuffing that way, or any other random thing she could think of.  I  sure do love my family and am so blessed to have them all in my life.  We were missing Justin, Katie and the girls, but got to talk to them over the phone.  Now that Thanksgiving is over we can know focus on Christmas.  We got all our decor and lights up inside and out, and helped Grandpa Jerry with his as well. 

 

Early Decorating

With everything going on in the world and all the worries, we decided to put our Christmas up the week before Thanksgiving so we could enjoy the holiday decor a little longer.  Brecken and Landon were all in on the tree decorating and did an amazing job on the bottom of the tree. ha ha.  We had fun listening to Christmas music and decorating our tree.  So Excited for the holiday season.

 

Peach Fuzz (volleyball tournament)

 The high school does this volleyball tournament every year called peach fuzz.  The girls volleyball players put together and coach a boys team in their grade and then they all go against each other and the teachers team.  Preston's team won their grade, and one other and then got out in the semi's??? I  think.  The teachers won the whole thing, which is usually the case every year.  He had a fun team and had a blast.
