Brecken just started 2nd grade and finished his first big chapter book all by himself. He read the Magic Treehouse, and liked it. Since then he has found books called dogman that he is loving. It's more of a comic style type book. He also was rewarded in school for passing off all his first grade Chinese reading books. With covid these kids got only half a year of Chinese their first grade year, so they are making up for lost time. Brecken was pretty excited to get his chocolate candy bar as his reward.
