School Halloween Parade, and Halloween day

With Covid picking up around here our school decided to not let parents come watch so we had to watch it virtually on Facebook.  We also aren't aloud to help in the class so no class party for us.  We did enjoy watching Brecken on facebook and finding him through the crowd of kids.  He came home sad they wouldn't let parents come but other then that had a great Halloween party at school.  The next day (Saturday was Halloween) we decided to wait and carve our pumpkins that day to help the day go by faster and keep the kids entertained.  It was still a struggle they wanted to know when it was time to dress up and go trick or treating about every 15 minutes.  The boys really wanted to paint their pumpkins first this year and then carve them.  So that took up some more time and they seemed to have a blast.  We all headed over to grandma and grandpa Eves house for the annual Halloween chili dinner and trick or treating in their neighborhood.  We walked around with Tylee, Laiklynn Devin and Lisa.  The weather was so perfect and we enjoyed the walk around the neighborhood with the company.  Brecken went as a pirate this year, and of course Landon had to be Chase from paw patrol.  Addison was an M&M, and Shaylee dressed up as a scarecrow for her friend party the night before.  When we were done hanging out with family we headed home.  Addison went to a friends house to watch a movie.  Preston went to a friends house to hot tub and watch a movie.  Shaylee had friends at our house and watched the quiet place.  Brecken did more trick or treating around our neighborhood, while Landons favorite part was handing out the candy to the kids.  Overall we had a great Halloween day.
