Preston got tagged by Ashlyn back in October for Sadies...well due to Covid it kept getting pushed back. So finally in March they were able to have their sadies dance. It was down in St. George at some rooftop area. They played pickleball for their day date and Preston said they pulled out the win against the other couples. Sure do love this group of kids.

Crazy Landon
Landon is my kid that seems like he will be my first broken bone kid, my first stitches kid, my going to the E.R. kid. Well so far we have had a few close calls but dad is always able to just glue the cuts shut. This one landon ran into the open door of the oven. When I went over to grab him a chunk of his hair was stuck in the side of the oven where he hit. He is pretty tough though and only cries for a second. Here's hoping we can bypass any big accidents in the future.

Preston's first year of Tennis
Last year Preston decided to tryout for Tennis. He made the team and was excited to play. Well we didn't even make it into one game before Covid hit. So this Spring he talked a bunch of his friends and boys to try out with him. They all made the team and are having a blast. Preston made Varsity Doubles after some back and forth between some players and challenges. His partner Kevin and him are doing alright this season for it being there first time playing and playing together. Can't wait to see how the season ends up for these boys.

Great Grandma Hannah & Landon
Grandma Hannah came down to visit after her birthday in March. We got her for almost 2 weeks. We love her so much and love when we get to see her. Landon was so excited she came he ran and got his favorite blanket to share with her because she was cold. He also took her on a house tour all by himself. He even made her go up the stairs. He showed her things from how messing the kids rooms upstairs was, to the basketball hoop, and his backpack. I love that my grandma is still able to get around and play with us.

Landon's Life
Landon LOVED the scooter that Preston borrowed for his skit. He wanted to drive it so bad, and so Dean and I took turns letting him drive us around the block. Also, so cute pictures of Landon falling asleep in my bed. Look at that placement of his hand while he sleeps. We had dinner one night where I got out the lemon Pepper, Landon decided it was so good he had to lick it off his plate. He is such a funny on the go kid, we sure love him in our family.

Exec Council campaign week...
When we got back from Spring Break Wednesday evening, we found out that the next morning Thursday (which was still considered spring break) He would need to meet at the school to find out what team he would be on for the upcoming exec week. They split the kids into 2 teams...a red team and black team, they think it helps that kids work together and cheer each other on and helps the kids with campaigning. Preston found out he was on the Red team with some great kids. He was on the team with Millie, Ryan, Cooper, Sara, Lindy, Porter, and then Preston. They got right to work with their team Posters, Shirts, Dance, and Video. In the meantime we had to do all of Preston's Personal posters and shirts too, as well as come up with his skit. The Team ended up at our house while they made shirts, and we helped them and fed them dinner. Then that weekend with the help of my mom and sisters we were able to bust out Preston's posteres, his part in the team movie, and his skit. We stayed with the dumb and dumber theme from his initial campaign video. We rented out the Orange tux for the week, and took a bunch of pictures with him in it for his posters, video and skit things. We finally made it to Monday and we were able to hang up his posters. Tuesday School started back up from spring break and campaigning began for both teams. The red team was in charge of the lunch activity that day they came up with 9 square, corn hole, and outside games, but it was raining so we moved it inside. Wednesday we had to decorate and cater the lunch for the old exect and leaders. I went down to grab catered Chick fil la for everyone. We had the lunch at Millie's house and everything turned out perfect. Thursday was interview day. Preston dressed up in his suit and said he did great with his interview. Also, Every night that week they were up practicing their dance skits and filming their team movie for the big assembly Friday. We got all of Preston's filming done for his part of the movie, and it turned out great. We borrowed cousin Tynlee's scooter for the filming and his skit on stage. He did great and red team nailed their movie and dance. Preston did great with his skit and we were so excited and proud of all his hard work. After the assembly the voting was open for a couple hours. That night they had a dance they would go to and there they would announce who made the new exect council for the next year. We were all exhausted from all the work from the last week, but it was so much fun to watch Preston. We were all a nervous wreck to wait tell 11:45 that night to see if Preston made it or not. Dean and I stayed up to hear the news. Around 11:55 we got a text saying he had made it!!! He was so excited and couldn't believe it. Honestly everyone that made it this far were amazing and we knew it could go either way. Anyway, Preston is so excited for next year and we are so excited for him as well.

Spring Break Part #3...Home...SNOW
We got home Tuesday and woke up to snow Thursday, so we went hot tubbing at Grandpa and Grandma's, the cousins all came over and the kids all dared each other to get into the super cold pool. I couldn't believe Landon and Laiklyn they even went up to their shoulders. After hot tubbing we had lunch with all the cousins, and then they came back over to our place to hang out for the day and play. Saturday it really came down where the kids ran out and built a snowman with Dean as their helper. It also snowed Monday too. We got like 3 really good snow days, but then it would melt the next day. Which I love. So we went from 80's swim weather to 30's snowman weather for our week of Spring break. I would say that is a good mix for us. We don't own very many snow clothes, and most of them they kids have outgrown so we had to work with what we had.
