New Years Eve

New Years Eve was on a Sunday.  My older kids weren't too excited about that. We had church and then made yummy food for dinner homemade wings, dips, shrimp, fries, jalapeno poppers, and so on and so forth.  After dinner we headed over to grandma and grandpas and played some games and watched some shows.  We left around 9:00 to come home so they could go to bed.  We ended up playing more games, playing the switch and doing a puzzle.  Shaylee went to her friend Harlee's for the last hour while addison went with Emily for the last hour to a little get together.  The boys mom and dad all made it to midnight.  I  think it's a first for Landon.  We are all ready for a new year and a clean slate.  Bring on 24'.  I  only got like two pictures on New Years Eve.  

 

Dec 30th Preston's Birthday 20!!

Preston is 20!! Its so weird to think I was dating his father at this exact age. WEIRD. We celebrated him by going and doing his favorite extracurricular activity Golf.  The courses were all full so we went to BIG SHots golf in St. George.  We ran into a little bit of some issues.  We had a reservation time and still had to wait 40 minutes.  When we got to our spot there was no tee.  That was not fun especially for the littles who would have to use irons and hit it off the ground.  Dean went down and told them and they never came back so he went and just got a tee from them and put it on ourselves.  It was a beautiful day for December.  We then went out to eat at Preston's favorite restaurant "Texas Road House".  We put our name on the waitlist while we were at top golf so we only had to wait like 5 minutes for a table. That was the biggest win.  We ate ourselves full of rolls and cactus blooms before our food even came.  We then came home to watch the Jazz play and get the win for P's birthday.  I  was really hoping he had received his package so he had something to open on his birthday.  We love and miss him, but our also so proud of him and the young man he is becoming.   

 

Days After Christmas

My title is days because our days all went into one Christmas break.  We cleaned some rooms, got rid of a lot of garage and crap, had a little pickleball tournament, Went to the movies "Boys in the boat." with as many family as we could get.  Went out to lunch with everyone before Justin Katie and girls left.  Worked on puzzles, played with new Christmas toys, played games, and built more puzzles.  We had a great break with everyone.
