By some miracle we were able to get Preston a new card so soon. One of his good buddies Elder Torgeson came home with a infection in his leg. He was heading back out to the field soon and Preston told us to maybe get a hold of him a nd see if he could help us out getting a card back to Preston. Sure enough we heard from him Saturday the 1st of December and he said he was leaving early monday morning. We didn't have a way to get it up to highland through mail so we new we would have to drive it up. We weren't looking forward to that but soon found out that st. george shuttle will take your letters or packages up if you have someone there at the drop off to get them. We had Grandma Monson pick it up around 5:00 saturday and take it to Elder Torgeson by 6:00 that night. Preston let us know he received it Tuesday from Elder Torgeson at a leadership conference. We were so blessed that it worked out that way since the mission said Preston's new card is like 2 weeks out. He talked to us about a couple baptisms they are hoping for this coming weekend, but said he might not be here from them since they would find out about transfers Wednesday and have to leave by Friday. Preston really wanted to stay, but figured he was on his 3rd going on 4th time staying there so knew he would most likely be going. He loved the area and people there so much. We shall see though come Monday what happened to him. He is in Summer there and looks good and happy so that is great. We get to hear him speak quite a bit of spanish when we are talking to him because most everyone in his Zone is spanish and they all talk to him on pday while he is on the phone with us. I love it, and love that he is sharing the gospel of Christ with the people there.
