Preston Surgery

When Preston got home from his mission we knew we needed to get him checked for allergies and all the things he had going on this his head.  We started with his primary care dr. who said he thinks with how long he has had colds or allergies and we've tried everything throughout his life we sent us to an allergist.  We had him tested to everything allergy wise except food since that is a different dr.  The allergist suggested a couple little medicines and things and said let me know in 2 weeks if it helps if not he will refer us to a ENT Dr.  So 2 weeks later and a  head scan and we went to see a ENT Dr.  He found a few bone structures in the cheeks that were not draining and had formed big pockets for infection to stay in and build up so it never fully would go away.  We set up a surgery date for the end of April when he was done with all his finals and school up at BYU.  It was right during the Stock Show so I  missed the first day, but it's actually the shortest day anyway.  The kids did well, but boy Preston struggled those first few days.  He was just holding out tell the one week mark when he could get the stuff taken out of his nose and everything.  We got in for his one week follow up and the Dr wasn't' to happy with what he saw in the left side so we are keeping an eye on it and Preston still cant breath out of it with all the swelling and clotting. We will see him again in a month to see how it is looking.
