SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Okay since ive been slacking on my spiritual thoughts ill do my best to say something good.
This week as I stated earlier in this email, I've really been struggling getting the car into the driveway way. We've tried everything. We've tried going slow and We've also tried flooring it. We even went as far as to try to go shovel the snow but its so compacted that it wont budge. One time we finally did make it over the trench of snow but because the car decided to turn last minute we crashed right into a huge pile of snow and had to get the car out. Sister Ashby gets out or the car, backs me up, and than I try it again... and again... and again (don't worry I usually get it on the third try) but its only from the help of sister. Ashby. She helps back me up, is patient with me, let's me try again, and cheers me on till I get it.
I feel like this kinda relates to the gospel and life. Sometimes we cant get over our own piles of snow... whatever that might look like. For whatever reason we cant get enough traction to overcome the huge Mount of snow or trial that is facing us. We might try and try but its almost defeating when everytime you hit that gas pedal again you cant seem to do it. I think this happens often with our testimonies. Everyone has weak points to their testimonies and eventually when you cant overcome those weak points or find the answers you want you want to just give up and park on the side of the road. Park your testimony. Heres what I do know though. If you have some help, someone to back you up and motivate you to try again. Eventually, no matter how many takes you need... you will overcome that pile of snow. Just how sister ashby helped back me up, had patience with me, motivated me, cheerer me on, gave me second chances, and third chances, and even fourth chances... so does God.
I want to challenge all of you to not park your testimonies when life gets rough or when they get challenged by someone else. Turn to god. He will help you overcome the pile of snow you are facing. He will make a way when there is no way.

I love and miss you all! Reach out to me, id love to hear from you!

Landon's B-Ball Club Season.

Landon had his next basketball game of the season.  They played a little bit harder of a team this time.  The coach on the other team yell at our kids and the refs so that gets Landon nervous, but otherwise he did great.  He held his own in the game and had some good assists and a couple shots.  They ended up winning by a couple baskets.

Baptisms

Brecken has a good group of friends that like to get together and go do baptisms for the dead.  They had their first session of the new year this last friday.  They all had a blast and went and got Chinese food afterwards.  They already have the next temple trip planned for the Cedar temple next Friday.
