Our Garden
After the Soccer games on Saturday, we decided we better get our garden in. We started a little late this year, but we should be just fine. We loved our garden last year, and cant wait to try a few new things this year, and hopefully next year. The kids get so involved and I love it. This year the girls really, really wanted Strawberries, and Watermelon. We knew that Strawberries didn't do so well down here in the heat, so we talked them into watermelon, boy were they excited to plant that one. We got 18 tomato plants, we might go get 6 more to finish off the last planter box. 3 Squash and Zucchini. 2 pepper plants, 1 Red, 1 Green, 1 Jalapeno, Green onions, Cilantro, 6 cucumber plants, and last but not least 2 watermelon plants. We hope the garden does well this year. We've been praying everyday for it to grow....especially those darn watermelons. ha ha.

In the first sentence, shouldn't that say 'our garden'? ;). I love you sis. Wish I were there!
You could probably get a hanging strawbberry plant and hang it in the shade on your patio and they may work... Just a thought.... That's what a lot of folks do here.
Thank you Justin...I didn't know you were such a grammar oriented kinda guy. He He. Thanks for the idea of the hanging strawberry plant. I think we will try it.
Love the Garden...Way better then the one we had in LaVerkin. Remember having to weed that thing?! I can't wait to come down and see it's growth:) Loves
